Watching Scrapped Princess
But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith-- that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and may share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

Phil. 3:7-11

so that's how it's said? not Romeo X juliet? It's romeo AND Juliet?
hehe... cool I have been saying it wrong the entire time >_<

Eh, I can't be certain, but I figure it's not pronounced "Romeo ehux Juliet" (that ehux=my attempt to phonetically spell out the sound made by the letter "x"). So, I'd guess you still call the show "Romeo and Juliet." Maybe.

However, as much as I'd like to say that I intentionally did that, I'll go ahead and own up to that being a mistake on my part. I meant to type "Romeo X Juliet"--Because that's the title of the show. XD
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

After watching episode #24,which had the back story of the two older Twilight Priestesses I have to say I feel a bit more sympathetic toward them. There was also a nice touch when they say good by to Kurakie and she tells them they were like
older sisters to her.
So it all comes down to the final two episodes next week.
And after what Yagerna did to Yuzu in episode #23 I just hope that they can really
let him have it!

Um, January of 2006, I think. :) (Oh, and I'm just a lowly mod, not an administrator. I fear the world would explode were I given those monstrous powers.)

And to justify this post: I'm watching Nodame Cantabile episode 19.

This is my night for the Original Dirty Pair OVA and I am up to episode #5.
Also on AS episodes #24 Enter Sango,The Demon Slayer and #25 Naraku's
Insidious Plot on Inuyasha. And yes I know it's listed as Enter Sango,The Demon
Exterminator on AS but the DVD version I have has it as Enter Sango,The Demon
Slayer and that is what I go by because Demon Exterminator makes Sango sound too much like the demon version of the Orkon woman and I think Demon Slayer is a lot cooler sounding title and makes her a bit Buffyesque sounding.

Just finished the first season of 'Tokyo Majin Gakuen Kenpuchou: Tou'. Also, just got my complete collection of 'Dai-Guard' that I bought used on that-there-Internet-contraption. I've seen parts of it before, but I am just loving going through the whole thing. Dai-Guard and Patlabor are far-and-away my favorite Mechas of all time (with Megas XLR close behind.)

Stumbled across a scanlation of the manga a while back (just a few chapters but it was great. I cannot wait for someone to do a proper release!)

I may have to do a little fansub huntin' tonight. I've heard it's good enough we should see a legal release eventually though. Hope so!
