ah yes...i'll also pitch in with in with those who say Misuzu from Air. the 'Gao' really is adorable, although she's perhaps not young enough to be cute-cute...but yea. (then again...Yachiru is ancient right?)
random: as weird as Air is, the "romance" (or whatever kind of love that was) totally made me cry. awww @ sad emo anime.

o.o @ KhakiBlueSocks....Ed is just annoying, imo. maybe i need to watch more CB.

The second cutest anime character in my book goes to Beauty from Bo-bobo-Bo-Bobo! Her voice reminds me of Mimi from Digimon, and at first, I thought they were the same V/A!

I think it a toss up between Rin and Shippo, but Inu-Yasha is the only anime that I've seen.

Amusingly enough, I didn't even like her as a character till I watched her in her orginal voice (ok, so I didn't watch the dub far enough for her character development but still). The voice of "Sugar" from YTV's The Zone is enough for me to shudder at (not sure what her real name is though).

I'll pick Rino Randou for the "aww cute" catagory, as well as the accountant, Mayura Ichikawa, for her hilarious (and almost never ending) fits over the student council budget.

Anime characters always do seem cuter with their eyes closed. ;)
