Lately I have been watching "Folktales from Japan" on Crunchyroll and they are actually pretty good! It's a little cheesy art-style, yet very nice colors, obviously meant to be kid friendly. And it really is, it's for the most part safe for all ages, and it introduces you to Japanese culture as these are old stories a lot of Japanese grew up on, so it's really neat! And several actually have good moral lessons. I also love the ending song so much and the opening animation is gorgeous *.*

I just finished Blood+. It's one of the better vampire stories, and I loved the ending. I don't really like the way Kai turned out, though.

Just got the last DVD of Kodocha I needed, so I watched episodes...13 and 14, I think.

I also managed to find a copy of Samurai X: Reflection, which I've been wanting for a looooong time. I was thrilled to find it in the used bookstore, and it's actually in really good condition! So I watched that, and remembered how beautiful and bittersweet it is <3

Finished Usagi drop, sooo cute I loved it. One of my favorites now :) tried a new anime last night, the name seemed questionable but I liked the art style, sadly I wish I trusted my gut with the title.....

Inferno Cop 1-3. 10/10 best anime of 2013

And becuase I was in the mood, I also watched a few episodes from PASWG. Episode 7. So many references. I cried.

Edit: Oh yeah, also Ixion Saga DT. I'm four episodes in, dunno if I'm going to stick with it. There's some things I like about it, some things I hate.

Man, I'm watching a lot tonight. Too much, perhaps. Magi episodes 1 and 2. I'm really liking this, haven't seen too many anime with this sort of arabic feel.

Tonight, I watched Robotics;Notes (Man, Fraubow is weird) and finished Honey & Clover. I still think that SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Hagu doesn't have romantic feelings for Shu. He might or might not for her (the interactions he has with the boys and with her seem much more like an overprotective father than a rival suitor), but I think her decision is not one of romantic love but of rejection of the whole idea of spreading her wings relationally and stepping out into the scary world of love. I think she just wants to continue being like his daughter, comfortable in the shelter of his love. If there is any doubt, I think her discussion with Yuta on the bike cinches it, where she thinks the only way she can give back to Shu is by producing artworks. So, that's my take on the Shu/Hagu relationship. I really can't see her progressing romantically with him, the way she relates to everyone during the show. Whew, what a long bit that was!

It's one of my favorites. As long as you're not bothered by the martial vocalizations, you'll probably enojy it a lot. :)

Tonight, I watched El Cazador... (Lirio looked better in the kitty ears) and Cross Game. Silly Akaishi. :)

For the first time in a long time, I watched some anime! I watched:

Humanity Has Declined: The Fairies' Time Management (both parts)

Erin: Episode 2

What's weird is that in Humanity Has Declined, the assistant was touching the protagonist's boobs. Later that night, in one if my dreams, one of my teachers was touching mine. So nonetheless I don't plan to watch that show anymore. And sorry, I can't get spoiler tags to work on my iPhone, so mods, please tag this as you wish.

........ That's weird, but I can honestly say that nothing else in the show does that. Besides, if you've watched up to Time Management, then you've seen how ridiculously clean the show tends to be.

Kobato 2- Still cute. Trying to decide if I like it.

@Mewster Atria's right.Humanity Has Declined is actually very clean but there are very few times where it might be inapporpriate. I can only think of few things and even some of the things aren't so bad.

SPOILER: Highlight text to read: Bread spilling out jelly as gore
Stranger who looks sort of like assistant gropes the mediator.
Selling Yaoi manga- the show is definitely not yaoi though.
I beleive 2 characters are revealed to be lesbians but I don't remember very well because they only showed this for like 3 seconds.

Also assistant didn't do that but some boy who fit his description did. You don't see him again in the show.
These few things barely get 5 seconds screen time and happen only once in about 3 episodes.

The series is actually genius and has good humor. Don't let these few things bother you. If you feel its too inapporpriate for you to watch then its fine. But it seems too early to deem it as inappropriate after 1 thing in 8 episodes.

Actually, I haven't watched all 8 episodes, I just picke and choosed which one I wanted to see, as its so random and plotless (which I like) that you can just start watching at any episode. May give it a try again. Just don't wanna put things in my head that will cause me to have weird dreams. (Which means I probably just shouldn't watch it so late at night.)

Watched episode 2 of Squid Girl today. Didnt get a lot of it cause I thought I finished the first episode, but I didn't. Really wanna watch another episode of Erin, but its close to bedtime and school starts up again tomorrow.

Zeta Gundam, first two episodes.

So. Let's say you're name is Kamille. You're wandering the halls of your space colony. Your friend calls out your name, and some military dude and his goons overhear it. He says Kamille's a girly name. What do you do?

That's right! Punch him out and assert your masculinity. Then get the tar beaten out of you by his buds.

They take you to the base, give you a good grilling, try to recruit you, 'cause they could always use young bucks of your spirit. You say no, of course. But as you're leaving, a giant robot crashes into the building! What happens next, hotshot?

Yup, you come up with an incredibly convoluted escape plan, make your way through a back entrance, and highjack the robot! And it works! And you can drive it for some reason, 'cause you're just that good. And then you use it for a quick act of petty revenge against the jerk you punched earlier because you can, darn it.

But wait, what's this? While all this is happening, a bunch of mobile suits punched a hole in the colony and are coming to take the robot away! Turns out it's some sorta super prototype mecha, and the other side of the war wants to do some research on how their enemy's doing. So you fight them off, because they're tearing up your hometown, right? Right?

Nope! You join them! And what's more, you take the other prototype they were testing too. Because you're Kamille Bidan and that's how you roll. You may be crazy, but you're crazy like a fox!

Considering how absolutely *surreal* the show is, not watching it late into the night is probably the best course of action. Because this show is surreal, and definitely could give strange dreams if seen while tired xD (But srsly, very clean as well.)

I *finally* finished season one of Chihayafuru, so now I'm starting Chihayafuru 2. Season One was good. There was a little too much soulful staring into people's eyes in some episodes for my taste, but that's about the only flaw.

Oh, and last night I started Death Note. The funny thing is I had always assumed that I would not like this show, based on the descriptions I'd heard. I only started watching it because my husband was interested in it. We're only three episodes in and I'm already pretty interested. I'm liking it much much more than I would ever have expected. I'm sure there's an important lesson here . . .

I watched Death Note a while back to see what everyone was talking about. Personally, I found it compelling but disappointing. I always wanted to keep watching, but I often felt the story didn't go where it was leading as far as interesting potential. All the same, I hope you enjoy it, Mouse. :)

Tonight, I watched an episode each of Valerian and Laureline, El Cazador..., and Cross Game.
