Aria the Animation

I was looking for Aria the Animation TV series as a potential purchase. I found it here http://www.google.com/products?q=aria+the+animation+TV&hl=en

But something makes me wonder. Was it liscensed before The Right Stuf International liscensed it? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARIA_The_ANIMATION It doesn't seem like it. And the copies on google shopping are region free. Those two things together bother me. Could this be the sale of bootlegs? I really want to make sure.

Yes, most definitely. Anything "region free" is pretty much bootleg. Go to Right Stuf and preorder Aria the Animation because that's legit and as Roy already mentioned ('cause he's up to date on these things) it's subbed only. I already preordered mine because Aria = awesome. :D (atleast in my opinion)

Oh, and since this has become a "questions for Aria" sort of thread. I heard through the rumor mill that Nozomi also aquired the rights to the 2nd and 3rd seasons as well as the OVAs. Is that true, Roy?

Hmmm... I don't know about that.

He he... I'd love to preorder Aria and get it as soon as it comes out, but 37$ plus shipping is way out of my price range. I think I'll wait a while after it comes out and look for a copy on ebay. That, or I'll special order it through Borders and use a coupon on it. (Our Borders happens to have changed their policy regarding coupon usage on special orders )
