Wedding Peach

Ok this goes out to all the Sailor Moon and other Magic Girl fans out there like Sailor Dove.
Have any of you seen Wedding Peach and if so what did you think of it?
I ask because currently Rightstuf has the series in their bargain bin for only
$3.99 per copy.
I am curious to know people's thoughts on the subject since I am seriously thinking of ordering the first three volumes of the DVD to add to my
collection.

It is about as close to Sailor Moon as one could get save for Wedding Peach wears a wedding dress. So if you really, really liked Sailor Moon, you'll like this title.

Thanks.I'm thinking of watching it subbed as Magic Girl shows seem to have a tendency to be dumbed down in dub form.

Been looking up some Wedding Peach sites today.According to what the creator has up on her site the one character Scarlet OHara aka Angel
Salvia comes from Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With The Wind but her name is actually the Japanese name OHara(her father is Japanese and her mother is American, which explains her hair and eye coloration).
I guess when it originally came out Animerica Magazine really slammed it bad.

oh that's too bad that it got slammed by the american magazine! ...and I didn't know that Salvia was based on Scarlett O'Hara. That's cool to know. Anyways, this is one of my FAVORITE anime series! I really like it a lot. I own both season box sets. The only thing is that I didn't really like disc 10 of season 2 which is Wedding Peach DX.

I have Wedding Peach DX too. Although Wedding Peach has great story compare to the more recent anime, it wasn't as heart moving as other old magical girl shows, such as Nurse Angel Ririka. Wedding Peach is more heavy romance. If you like romance stories, you would find it interesting.

I have been poking around the internet and looking up WP sites.I found one with some images from the various episodes and looked up the first episode.Looks like a lot of fun.I also found the website for one of the series' creators and she discusses, among other things, why WP and SM
are so similiar(they're both Magic Girl shows and a lot of the same people worked on both).
Now all I have to do is wait for it to arrive in the mail.
