*gasp* I saw this on dA and thought it would be fun to color, and now here it is.

Wanna hear how I got the inspiration? Well, over the weekend we went camping for may campers (a youth group gathering- we all camped out in tents in this race track course thing) and the weather was horrible. Perfect example of English weather. It was wet and cold and rainy and just miserable. And I was wet and cold and drenched and miserable. I knew I was supposed to do the lineart, and I was thinking and thinking of what I wanted to do, but the only things coming to mind were being wet and cold and miserable. XD

So poor Miu is being tortured by wind. ;-;

Alright! I totally procrastinated from doing homework tonight... and got my submission done. I really like how the trees came out in the background.

I agree about getting the staff more involved. I know I was always a bit more excited about the contest(s), unofficial or not, when they announced the winners on the main page.

I've been wondering about the photo contest as well, debating whether I want to commit to running it or not, if that's what it would take to get it back up and running. I'd be willing to, but I like to participate too... *makes face*

In the second one, she's skidding on top of a poorly drawn skyscraper.
You can see my lack of effort in the umbrella. ._. Sorry.

Well the previous runners of both the coloring contest and Photo contest stopped running them... Lizardqueen took over the coloring contest but no one took over photography contest. Then once lizardqueen could no longer do the coloring contest I took over.

But your right we should post both the winners of the original character contest and coloring contest together! I will go over and take a gander at their thread... see what they have to say!

Allright. finally finished it. Picture colored in paint. I could just see what's happening. she's yelling at her boyfriend to put down the camera and help her before her umbrella gets blown into the sea. ^_^ i took bits and pieces of memories of Washington park back in anacortes, Wa. being at a small beach with evergreen trees all around. Those are stairs behind her going down to the beach, and a paved road behind her. The actual beach with the stairs is bigger, but i wanted to add another part of washignton park, the rocks all over the place. ^_^
