Is it possible to have a forum specific ignore, and perhaps an "Ignore sig."

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you go into more detail?

You can close out forums by category by hitting the negative symbol on the top right corner of the box.
And I think in the control panel, there is an option saying that you can display or not display sigs.

Oh for a second I though he wanted to know if there was a way to set up users on an ignore list so that their post doesn't show up when you go through the forums.
There is a feature like that. User CP -> Buddy/Ignore lists (it's near the bottom)

There are certain forums I may not want to miss people's posts on. Also, there are some signiatures I, to be honest, find annoying. Ratehr than getting upset every time, it may be nice to turn off my viewing of their sig.
The sig thing is secondary, and neither one of them are like urgeant... I'm just wondering if it's possible...
So, say, I could block people's posts in all forums except prayer, or except projects or something... Then they would be ignored in general, goof off, in the spotlight, etc...
I understand if this is too hard to do, but I'm just wondering if it is possible.
(and, no, Volt I'm not blocking you)

I understand your point Volt, but ignoring posts of someone who makes you mad is much better than letting yourself become one of those who causes the problems. Some people excercise self control by sealing their lips. I exercise it by forcing myself to avoid it alltogether. That is a Biblical stance. It's better for me to miss what they may have to say than to let controversy destroy my faith and better to "enter heaven missing a hand than to have your entire body thrown into hell"
I need to follow the rules around here and keep order, and the ignore option is the best way for me to do that in some cases. I would only like that extra control over it so as not to ignore someone's prayer requests.

The functionality of vB doesn't include what you have described, and I'm afraid that your idea sounds like something that would be quite complicated to implement. I'm not really prepared to hack it in unless I find someone else's code that does what you have described(unlikely).
Sorry.

It's ok. It was just a thought.
NM... Just noticed the "view post" option. I can view individual posts and ignore others.
