Video Game Reviews section garners admin approval
caa associated press - Nov 25, 2003
In a vote by members of CAA's administors/moderators club, it was decided that CAA should have its very own Video Game Reviews area. "It's not a surprising addition" quipped one of the moderators, "as the line between Video Games and Anime is becomming more and more blurred." When contacted, squaresoft spokesman Gerry Attric said, "I think it's great! People need to buy more video games!" Capcom declined our request for an interview.
The idea for a video game forum came from within the group, and was generally greated with enthusiasm by the staff.
This just in: ADD causes people to stop cheesy routers-style announcements!
Yeah. Anyway, we're still working out the administrative details (what constitutes 'official,' etc), but we thought you should know. Cheers!

Great! This gives me something else to do in my spare time, after the game is played.

uc pseudonym was also reportedly on the scene, though apparently he managed to do almost nothing. "We still aren't sure quite how that happened," moderator Rhet O. Rical said.
I'm pretty sure all these reviews will get worked into the database, actually. Talk to oldphilosopher about that one.

I'm working on Sly Cooper right now and would be happy to write a review on it when I'm done.
Anyways, I think everybody should stick to a specific database similar to the anime reviews.

...and I though I got off topic sometimes.

Do we have a core team of reviewers set up? Or would we prefer to have such organization be informal, and anyone who has a review may submit it to the moderators before it goes onto the site? Speaking of which, I have a question for oldphilosopher: would it help you for someone to send you the reviews out of the site context? Or can you do that yourself?
Off topic: You're off topic with us, Volt. In a friendly way.

Translation: when Noz/OldPhil have time to program.

Awesome! Any idea of when it'll be up?

We have it all figured out exactly! It's gonna... Ow! Hey! Stop that! Hey!
noz: Uh, when we get around to programming it.
Yeah, that's what I mean to say...
Seriously, though, we're working on the official reviews DB for anime, and I'm gonna code vgs into that. Looks like I'm also gonna have to have space for manga, Christian manga, and the oh-so-popular "Manga-On-A-Stick" corndog style manga.
