Hey folks! Our first show is here!

In this first episode we talk about the Nintendo Revolution’s new name, what’s been going on in the last week of the Video Game world, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, games to look out for at E3, our pre-E3 thoughts, and we wrap it all up with our first listener e-mail alongside our surprise Visual Parody contest announcement (more info in show notes).

Needless to say, this is one BIG show. Consequently, this is one big download too (furture shows will be much shorter), so please be patience. You can download the show from either Yousendit or Rapidshare:

Episode 1 - Pre-E3

Yousendit (70mb – 64kps):

Rapidshare (same):

In this second Episode, we talk about our thoughts on each of the Big-Three's press conferences (Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft):

Episode 2 - Post-E3

Yousendit (56kps - 41mb)

Rapidshare (same)

Note: Episode 2 was recorded on Thursday.

Unfortunately, we have had some technical difficulties during and after the recording, so we were unable to upload it to Youtube (new 10min rule) and Google Video for streaming. I’ll also try to upload it to archive.org, if I have the time.

Nevertheless, I hope you guys enjoy the show and we will continue to try to make this an easier download.

Also remember, if you want your questions aired on the show, send us an e-mail to: caagameradio@hotmail.com . If you want to be heard on the show send us on audio question (under a minute) through yousendit.com
Ciao,
LA

PS. The Anime and General show is still coming, I promise. I have been bogged down with classes and finals.

The ESRB works by having the developers make a video of the most objectionable or "worst" parts of a game. Then they submit it to the ESRB. Then some ESRB dudes watch the video, then make a judgement on that.

Nate! Half-Life 2 didn't have pepsi machines! You can get them, but they are a reskin by the modding community.
And the pocket gameboy isn't a smaller gameboy color! It's a smaller gameboy

Nice work guys! I like this

I'm glad ya'll enjoyed it. :) Remember, we'll be back again Friday to talk about the aftermath of E3. Don't worry; it won't be as big of a download, because it's ALL E3.

I got an idea for both shows. How about a top 10 list of what the popular anime, manga, and video games are for the month?

Alright, Episode 2 is up. I've had a really hard time uploading it and I'm pretty much fed up with these sites, so expect something radically different next time. It'll be a lot easier on all of us, I promise.

It's possible, those are always really fun. We'll probably do something beyond that like (for quick example): our top 5 favorite melee weapons in games ever, etc

However, on podcasts, lists can really eat up a lot of time. But, we'll still play with the idea and see how it goes.

Here's an idea!

Let's keep the shows to 60 minutes!

Seriously dudes, these massive shows are just way too long for one sitting. May I suggest breaking the topics down a bit, and maybe releasing shows a few days apart, rather than one massive dump at a time?

Thanks!

This sounds fun and for the anime podcast doing similar lists for anime (favorite mech weapons...ninja special attack... etc.)

Yes, the next podcasts will be under that time limit.
