The Oekaki needs a Moderator

Hi, I haven't been here too much, but I've been on the Oekaki also, and I think it's in sore need of some rules and guidelines, and someone to Moderate it. (I visit pretty often there so I'll volunteer if you don't mind...)

Someone just recently drew a picture of a naked female furre - and even though it's "Adulted" and not very well done, that sort of thing just does not belong on a "Christian Board". One of my non-saved friends even saw there were things on there that shouldn't have Christ's label on it.

I've already been a moderator on another board, and I'm oretty conservative in my judgement of images.

Nudity is something I have a low tolerance for... and could consider scantily clad pictures as needing an 'adult' label, though my blood threshold is much higher, certainly body parts flying off/missing limbs should bear an 'adult setting'... I even have suggestions on a set of rules and phrasing is key.

I love anime style work, and some of the artists on CAA are great, just, as embassadors of Christ, content should be an issue, I know it is here with the Anime we watch and Manga we read, so I pray something will be done about this.

Thank you, Respectfully yours,
Sonic Rose; Pocky of many Colors

Actually SonicRose,we HAVE been trying to troubleshoot the oekaki board for some time now...it's a lot more difficult to moderate than the actual boards for a myriad of reasons. In fact, we're most likely going to drop the oekaki altogether because it seems to be more problematic than blessing to us. But at the moment, the only staffers that have the technical know-how and acess to the system are both away.

Rest assured, we're aware of what's going on and just as deeply troubled by it. Something WILL happen soon, I just can't promise what or when.

Alright, I'm thankful I'm not the only one who's noticed this... I would like the Oekaki to continue, and even help by being a mod there - I'm readily available. Unfortunately I don't know how to set things up, but I do know how to freeze accounts, delete etc...

I'd also like to keep updated on what's going on with the board so feel free to PM or IM me (sonictherose @aol.com) Thank you

Well, for the moment SonicRose, the oekaki is down. We're really re-scrutinizing a lot of CAA's tech stuff, so it may yet come back but not anytime soon. When it does, I will consider you for the position, so thanks for offering. I'll keep you posted.
