delete in testing...

Postby Mithrandir » Thu Jul 24, 2003 6:49 am

Hey Guys,
I was messing around with a robot last night looking a the response times of the board. I tried to go back in later and clean up after myself, but I couldn't see any way to delete my posts. Am I missing something obvious?!?

edit: Correction. I'm not seing the delete function at all when I go to the edit screens...

I decided to turn the delete ability off. There is a good reason for this.. I've noticed some members deleting their own messages after other members have responded to them. This can be quite confusing, especially as there is no way of setting a time limit on deletion. If members want their messages deleted in the future they will need to ask one of the moderators/admins responsible for that section. I'll delete your test thread anyway ;)

Makes sense, I guess. You may want to update the onmouseover method to display only "Edit Message" then, instead of it's current "Edit/Delete Message."
