Curious - any Michael Ende fans lurking in the book section? I just got into his writing recently, and I love it. Was wondering if anyone knew of any other good books by Ende that have been translated into English.
So far I've read:
Neverending Story,
Momo, and
Mirror in the Mirror. But I want mooore!
On a side note, a Walden remake of NS would be great.

The Neverending Story is one of my all time favorite books!! I've read it at least 5 times. I first "discovered" it in 3rd grade, when our teacher read it to us. I have one other Ende book, "Night of Wishes". It had some funny parts, but I didn't like it as much as NS.

Awesomeness! Unfortunately, I didn't find NS (in book form) until about a year ago. Great book though. Oh! Night of Wishes, I heard of that one. One of the ones I was curious about, but I heard it was kinda more kiddie-fied than NS or Momo. How is it? Worth reading?

I've read some of Momo. The premise is great but the story lacks any oomph.
The Neverending Story on the other hand is very odd but an excellent novel. It's (mostly) better than the movie (which also good fun).

Yeah, Momo slugs off to a slow start with the "make believe" chapters. NS is my fav so far too. The old movie was good, but it would be nice to see a remake that was more true to the book and less watered-down.
