Hello everyone, I've noticed that recently there seems to be quite a few threads in the General forum related to the matter of how Christians are to interact with the culture we live in (or not).
Richard Niebuhr's Christ and Culture is a well written book that explores this, so I think if you want to think through the various positions on this issue, it is worth reading this book.
I hope you would find it beneficial.

Francis Schaeffer also explored the same question in many of his own works.

Francis Schaeffer is best known for the book and movie How Should We Then Live?
One of his other better known books is He Is There And He Is Not Silent.Schaeffer is well known in Conservative Evangelical and Fundementalist circles where his works are frequently read and cited.
Besides his writings he was also the founder of the L'Abri Fellowship that was headquartered in his home in Switzerland(though he himself was American).

Ah... "L'Abri Fellowship" is another phrase I heard somewhere before.
Hmm, interesting. Thanks!
I will keep an eye out for those titles next time I visit the bookstore.
