since there isn't one yet, i'll make one. This RPG will only have a few similarities to LOTR, and no magic please. Anybody who wants more information can PM me.

Weapons: a quiver of arrows, a bow, and a sword named Hwandudaedo
Other items: Saddle, some leaves full of lembas. Pack with food.

Personality: Explosive and restless. Loves combat as a test of his skill and will take on any challenge, even if it seems hopeless. Not very open about his background, however. It seems something troubling happened in his past.
Weapons: Mace and shield, but also carries a large warhammer on his back for tough situations
Other Items: Several memoirs from his missing wife in Dwarvish (A seemingly dead language in LOTR, none but the Dwarves know it) Several types of medicines to treat combat wounds, and kits to repair weapons and armor on the fly.

You are not too late. There is no rule against joining RPGs after they have started. It's a decision that belongs to the GM, and, if I recall she said it was fine.

Name of Character: Lyeara
Age: 97 (appears in early-mid twenties)
Race: specter
Pets: none
Description: Being a specter, she follows the basic guidelines: small in height and build, but curvy; sky blue hair, dark eyes, purple markings on each cheekbone, tanned skin. Her clothing consists of a following gray and black tunic-dress decorated with a red-jewed belt.
Personality: Specters are considered mischeivous in nature due to their habit to lure unsuspecting humans to their death. Lyeara is very aloof and speculative, and mysterious in her past and motives.
Weapons:None. Specters are creatures that do not use actual weapons. They instead can shapeshift and turn into a fog-like substance. Being a violent race, Lyeara used creative ways to attack people.
Other items: "Key", which is a tool used to maintain a physical form other than her own. If the "Key" is damaged, she loses her controlled physical state and dies.

Coolness! just make sure you keep within the boundaries of LOTR realisticness(yes, i know that's not a word)

Quick character note: Eomyrra is a princess of Rohan but she was banished for past wrongs which will be revealed in the RPG.

Pets: legion of black wild dogs
Description: Surprisingly tall for a spectre; roughly 6'0". Has traditional silver hair of spectre leaders as well as a beard. Dark skinned and medium frame; he dresses in dark robes and furs.
Personality: Cold, ruthless, and topped off with a sick sense of humor, Yerod enjoys his power of the Western faction of spectres. He loves death and toying with emotions of others.
Weapons: besides his dogs and warriors, Yerod can wield a dasteredly jagged sword.
Other items: red orb that can be used in foreseeing and learning weaknesses and fears

Age: 70 (looks 17)
Race: Elf
Pets: a white wolf pup named Eldun
Description: She is tall and lean, yet very strong. Her hair is long and brown with natural streaks of whitish blonde and is always braided away from her face. Her eyes are sea green and seem to sparkle when she is anticipating something, good or ill.
Personality/history: The younger sister of Haldir of Lorien, Hanalei has never had to fend for herself. By her brother's suggestion, she was raised in Rivendell where she was guided by Lady Arwen in her studies. With Elessar, her close friend and sparring partner, gone for years to other lands, Hanalei developed a desire to see the world for herself also. She is very bright and a quick learner, but her lack of years and experience has left her unprepared for the trials that lie ahead of her.
Weapons: One broadsword, Havensuin
Other items: An elvish flute, a gift from Haldir, that was said to be able to weave magic through its songs.
