GM: The RP really could use a history update, we’ve grown to over a 1000 posts and our games have really improved over this period. The game GM is basically me, Pascal, but Da Rabid Duckie is still official… even if he hasn’t ever posted once.

As for new players, I decided a while back to bring us into a new age in the RP, things have always been exciting and there are almost always wars, diplomacy or something occurring in the RP. It changes almost every day, that stated this is sort of a high maintance RP, in other words, if you can only stop in about once every couple of months… your nation may have been taken over… twice. But if you do come on regularly I think that you’ll thrive. The RP posts also tend to be rather long, sometimes overflowing the CAA word limit twice over. This allows the RP to get highly in depth and provide incredible descriptions, but at the same time is rather time consuming both for reading and for writing.

In total, if you’re the type of person whose posts are long and you have fun reading other peoples posts come right on in.

To ask to join up, send me a PM… I’ll work on placing your character in right off the bat, it may take a while to get a hold of other players and grow your forces. But this will also give you time to gain an understanding of the odd terminology, and history in the RP, as well as some basis ground rules we’ve developed to try to keep things fairer.

Nations and States: The Eclipse of Man

The eclipse of man, neither mentioned in prophecy nor the discerning of wise generals, the nations and ideals of men have fallen to the dark powers of the world. The towering heights of the Imperium, the combined might of Temuoplis and Pacifica found themselves environed by the dark clouds of war, with an enemy that was death itself. Once a small side story in the news, the undead had shown themselves to be a complex and ancient society that soon covered a great deal of the Earth, till it was only life or undeath, light and darkness that encircled the world.

The forces of Men, nay the Imperium, fought valiantly against this foe, and though their losses were heavy they were able to hold the great horde back from their lands. Yet in the shadows of darkness, the dark powers of the UN Nations had built themselves an army for doing war, and the war drums beat ever silently deep within the bowls of the undead lands, always hidden by the great clouds that swirled overhead, and protected by the horde of vampirics and zombies that did swarm the Imperium lines. But then, all at once, they became a reality all too real. And the last great hope of peace for the world was snuffed out in the flames of war. The unthinkable, the infamous had finally come, and it was doubly manifested by the dark presence of PASCAL, dark computer once thought destroyed… Yet now he was many.

Now the land is emptied of its forces, the Imperium stealing away as much of human life as it can for safekeeping. Placing the survival of humanity even above its own pride. It is leaderless and homeless, strung out among the stars as Mars itself worries of a possible onslaught from UN Forces. But is it not in dark eras that great heroes are born? And do not great leaders rise from difficulty? Indeed the world is covered in ash, and it will only brook a greater burden before it will grow better, for the forces of darkness swarm from the dark shadows in their triumph over the world. But the forces of light still hide in the shadows, the remnant of humanity, cat-humans or rare reploid or ninja monkey with great insight and kindness stored away in their hearts…

This is the age of the eclipse of man, the place where great nations are born, terrible evils are fought, and true friendships forged. Should the forces of light fail, the tragedy will be un-repairable, and all hopes will be lost forever, but now there is hope. Will you take the shadows armed to do battle with a foe you cannot possibly win for the sake of ideals? Will you revel in the powers of the day and strike down all that oppose you with the dark council of UN Forces and scheme for greater power? Or will you continue to hide in the shadows till your heart can stand no more? Rise, explore, befriend and conquer brave souls… Take to your blades now, for the age of the eclipse of man is upon us!

GM: Finally a note about strategy and long term perspectives, at first you will likely start out with a single character in the RP. From there you can gain an understanding of the world around you and eventually move through hypothetical situations… do watch how the other players do things, and never be afraid to ask questions. This world is weird after all, and no body expects anyone else to know what a ZPEB or a spork is :P!

Well, here's my bio


Character Name: Zarn Ishtare

Character Age: (unknown, looks 19-21)

Character Gender: Male

Character Physical Description: Zarn is about 5'6, with red-brown hair. A thin build, our hero weighs about 160-65. Is always seen in Imperial Robes, his Duelist uniform, or his warriors outfit, which is a Gi and alot of bandages.

Personal Weapons/Items: Zarn carries a silver energy saber, one all-purpose utility belt, several knives hidden about his person, two Mamba 16 shotguns in his side holsters and several hidden gun weapons secreted in his cape, shoes and cap.

Random Interesting Data: Zarn's left arm is completely bionic, having lost it in a fight in his shady past. Thus, it is well known to have several abilities, such as hiding (and becoming) different weapons, storing his personal computer (Which he views via transplants in his eyes) and verious other devious items.

Character History Description: Zarn is a mysterious figure in many ways. For one, his underwater nation, dormant and hidden from the outside world for millienia, suddenly emerged to argue that the PB Empire had somehow infringed upon the borders of his Land cities (When in actuality Zarn was unfamiliar with Aliens and thus mistook mysterious alien invaders for PB Monkies) and declared general war against the Alliance. During this time Zarn met Temulin, the ravishing exiled Queen of Temuopolis, and forged a secret pact with her. However, when the aliens he was negoiating with betrayed him, the entire planet was pitched into interstellar war-fare, as all the empire's of the world united in a great struggle for mankinds future. It was in this chaos and tumalt that Zarn enacted the next stage of his master plan. With speed and vigor, Zarn bullied, cajoled, and downright fought the Alliance for his own above-water nation. This resulted in the entire Pacific region being given away to him and his forces, and leaving him the task of uniting many seperate island goverments. It was also during this clash that Temulin was made Queen of America (thanks to Zarn's help, of course) and her armies took the entire Continent (including South America and Canada!) Thus securing a place of power for her once again. Now rumors fly that Temulin has left her throne, and dissension brews in the America's. Will Zarn find Temulin and convince her to return? Will he find new allies? This is his quest, his mission: Save the world!

Sweet... its finally here... anyway, here is my bio...and the history of the Peanutter-Butter Empire, all rolled into one convienient package...

Emperor Peanut

Age:17

Gender:Male

Character Appearance:The guy on the Right... in the picture... yeah thats me (Yes... I am to lazy to write out how I look, so I'll just show you a picture of me and David from Poland. YAY LAZINESS!!!!)

Occupation: The Glorious Emperor and founder of the Peanutter-Butter Empire and the owner, and CEO of Slaughterkill Industries.

Allies: Temuoplis

Abilities: Peanut's abilities come from his Ninja Monkey Armor. Though no one is completely sure as to what abilities he has and what abilities he dosen't have, from research of other forms of Ninja Monkey technology we can make a good guess as to what kind of abilities this suit gives him. These include the ability to use the Ninja Puff of smoke transportation system that allows him to be transported from the moon to the earth and from the earth make to the moon again. We can also guess that the suit gives him increased reflexes, speed, strength, and Ninja Skills. But, so far no of these Ninja Skills have been revealed in any battle. In fact, like Chuck Norris, Peanut seems to have one trick, and thats called the your face to my Katana 's blade trick.

Goal: To rebuild and expand the Peanutter-Butter empire

History: A long, long time ago... in a small revolution filled country far away... Peanut appeared on the seen and asked to join the Temoplian revolution in a very belligerent way. He essentially said that the revolution would go no where as long as he had his "Nuke the World" button (which he supposedly found some time during the "Corrupted Wish" thread", unless, of course, he was paid to join their side. The response, Peanut was shoved in a bag and his "Nuke the World" button was "confiscated" though as it turned out, that button was a fake. Peanut escaped from his baggish prison and vowed to make his own empire, an empire to challenge Temuoplis. This was responded to with laughter and joking from the Temuoplians, who had succesfully overthrown the government and had started their own country which was quickly expanding across the world.
After his humiliation in the Temuoplian revolution, Peanut went off into seclusion. Where he began a search for followers who would help him rule the world. And then, he found the Ninja Monkies... No one is quite sure how this encounter first occured, but it is said that he stumbled on the Ninja Monkey clan of the deep dark jungle... but it is rumored that he was rescued by them after a skydiving accident... However he met them, Peanut quickly gained respect for the Ninja Monkies as he learned their ways. After he completed his final Ninja Monkey trial, the council finally elected him emperor... yes thats actually how it happened... you see the council in truth wanted to retire and run some arms company in the middle east... and seeing as how Peanut was the owner of Slaughterkill industries, they esentially traded jobs. As the newly crowned Emperor, Peanut started by conquering the moon, which seeing as how it was uninhabited was incredibly easy. And thus, the Peanutter-Butter Empire was born... but this empire was not destined to exist in peace forever.
A war which Peanut dubbed World War III (since it did span the globe), Oeanut joined on the side of the Mintis Nation in its attempt to overthrow Queen Temulin. This action was mainly based on the chip on Peanut's shoulder left from the Temuoplian Revolution. Suprisingly, despite his belligerent Decleration of War speech, the Peanutter-Butter Empire was barely involved in the war. No true military campaigns have been reported, though some Ninja Monkies did appear on the battlefield and faught along side there allies. After the war turned into another revolution which resulted in the overthrowing and the imprisonment of Queen Temulin, Peanut allied himself with the one enemy that no one ever thought he would join... Temuoplis. Since then, relations between the countries have grown because of two recent conflicts... the Second conflict with Temulin and the invasion of the moon by some mysterious military force. Also, Peanut's minions, the meboeck clone and TrigunX89 dissappeared after this time... the assumption is that TrigunX89 is off being 30 steps ahead of Peanut (since thats his job) and that meboeck is busy working on military advancements in a secret lab that mysteriously became locked after Peanut's first State of the Peanutter-Butter Empire adress.
Anyway, Temulin eventually rose to power again by using the UN as a puppet to gather necessary resources in a delusioned attempt to retake Temuoplis. How she did this is still unkown considering the fact that Temuoplis litearlly had the UN in a stranglehold because of its past imperialistic endeavors (rumor in the Peanutter-Butter Empire has it that she used mind control) however she did it, one thing became clear, Temulin and her Clone army had to be stopped... But, the Peanutter-Butter Empire tried to stay out of the conflict, but eventually they were dragged into it after Temulin hired a hit man to assist in a assasination attempt of the Empire... Peanut responded with rage, and anger. This resulted in the unvailing of the "Peacemaker" a super powerful weapon that was responsible for the destruction of Heard Island base and the teleportation of all personel there to the dreaded Teletubbie Dimension... tragically, the lazy Ninja Monkey scientists assigned to bring these people back have not yet found a way to open a hole large enough for everyone in that dimension to escape through... Peanut also split up the third of his army that wasn't off doing something across the battlefields and he himself joined them. Saddly, this military campaign was cut short after Peanut returned to his moon base after Korea was taken over... When he returned, he found his moon base had been conquered by some mysterious military force... Luckily, Pascal appeared and saved Peanut and all other survivors of this incident, he also began to remove this mysterious military force from the moon. During this, the leader of this force revealed himself to be Peanut's longtime friend, Mr. Smartypants! Who is rumored ot have escaped before Pascal passified the mysterious military force by burying them...
With his moon base in disaray, Peanut had no choice but to pull out of the war and to not support the slight skirmish that arose with Zarn Ishtare (even though Zarn declared war on the Peanutter-Butter Empire). The Peanutter-Butter Empire began the slow process of trying to rebuild something that couldn't be rebuilt. They have also sent a small group of Ninja Monkey colonists to secure key locations on Mars. Now, Peanut is faced with the donting task of finishing the rebuilding of his Moon base, which could be hampered by the recent discovery of a Lunar base that belongs to Temulin. A dark future exists for the Peanutter-Butter Empire. A future that is guaranteed to contain conflict with Temulin, and with only one third of its army, the upcoming events will almost certainly decide whethere this Empire will achieve greatness or not...

General Scribs
Alliances: Currently claims aliegence to Zarn

Talents: Ingenuity is Scribs' chief weapon, and he uses it to come up with creative attacks and solutions to problems. Despite the odd and sometimes humorous nature of his creative input, he would like to think that it is all logical in nature. He is also an expert actor, and is generally able to make people believe exactly what he wants them to. He is a rousing public speaker, and a master of propoganda. He puts an emphasis on deception and coersion rather than on shear military prowess.

Personal Weaponry: As he is a diplomat and leader more than an actual soldier he appears to not cary any weaponry. He does however wear a watch that is capaple of shooting either slow or fast acting poison darts, excelent for assasinations or quickly dispatching unsuspecting enemys. His watch also doubles as a satelite video phone. His satelite video phone (not his watch, but the one he keeps in his pocket) doubles as either a grenade or time bomb, depending on the situation. His shoes are equiped with repulsor lifts that though awkward to maneuver, can get him out of otherwise sticky situations. He wears a laser resistant shirt and pants whenever possible. He always keeps a pen on his person that can dispense antidotes to almost all known poisons.

Military Power: Zarn has provided Scribs with a detachment of AT-AT's, AT-ST's, TIE BALL TANKS, as well as clone infantry ground forces. These are all congregated on Madagascar, Scribs' one land holding. He also has a testing facility where it is rumored that he has several thousand Lemurs and as many repulsorlift units. He also has several dozen desert storm era tanks that he attempted to upgrade with sonic technology. Unfortunatly this was not a success, mainly because Scribs knew almost nothing about sonic technology.

Current Intent: Support Zarn whenever adventagious. look for other oportunities...

History: Scribs was called into this confrontation by Zarn who Scribs still supports. He took Madagascar without incident and has been holding experiments of an unknown nature there. This is all that is currently known about Scribs.

Current Intent: Unknown

History: Supremely loyal to Temulin during her regime, Nat took heaps of ridicule from her, yet oddly stayed at her side no matter how she treated him. He attempted to battle Scepth on numerous occasions to show his worth to Temulin, but was always preempted by someone else. He calls himself the world's greatest warrior, whose name strikes fear in all hearts...yet for all his speeches, he has yet to show any competence in combat, or strike even a remote concern in the hearts of his opponents, let alone fear.

After Temulin was exiled, Nat stayed devoted to her for a time, though served under Da Rabid Duckie. However, after hearing of her plans to exact revenge upon him after all his loyalty to her, he decided she was not worth serving. He has been inactive ever since then, though he did follow orders to spy on Sakura-chan, but vanished shortly after. No one really knows who he will ally with, though it is suspected that he would follow almost anyone who would acknowledge his self-proclaimed talents.

Name: General Steely "Moshe" Templar

Alliances: Zarn and Temulin

Military Power: Leads four armored divisions of state of the art attack mechs supported by mechanized infantry.

Talents: Military strategy and tactics. Small arms marksmanship. Inspiring military speeches. Field leadership. And he is just one tough old soldier.

Personal Weaponry: Colt M1911-A1 .45 pistol

Current Intent: Lay the smack down on the enemy. Whoever Zarn and Temulin say that is.

History: Steely is a career military officer with a fine record. His life has reflected this and, while in comparison to some, may not seem as spectacular it is one of a man who has dedication. When asked whom he patterns his command style after, he will mention first and foremost the reknowned General George Patton. This is born out in Templar's aggressive tactics which center around relentless assaults with armor serving as a spearhead.

Military Record Highlights:

- Graduate Westpoint Academy, First In Class
- Attended Army War College
- Received the Gold Star and Purple Heart for actions of heroism as a tank commander with the Fourth Armored Division.
- Lost the use of his left eye while in combat, now wears a patch.

Rexman's Bio. Buhahahaha, I have a reason to doublepost.

Name: Chief Rexman

Alliances: Temuoplis... to the death.

Military Power: As head of the Duckstapo, Rexman commands a group as powerful as they are diverse. Some agents specialize in subterfuge and deception, while others are powerful warriors. The one thing they all have in common is their immense prowess in their respective fields. He also keeps a rather large collection of genetically engineered prehistoric creatures, but with their inability to distinguish friend from foe, their use has proven somewhat... dubious.

Talents: Having studied under Da Rabid Duckie, he is quite proficient with explosives, solving problems with explosives, creating problems with explosives and solving the explosive-created problems with even MORE explosives. He is not known for subtlety.

Personal Weaponry: Being what amounts to a brain inside a cortosis-plated tank, Rexman is quite well-armed. Well, actually, even he himself is unsure of the full extent of his weaponry. Suffice it to say that if a weapon causes death, destruction and mayhem, it may be found grafted to his armor. His armor also contains a supercomputer with its own AI which likes to called "Comrade Stalin". The AI's ideas occasionally conflict with Rexman's own, frequently causing arguments between the two. (And causing many to think that Rexman has a dire case of schizophrenia.)

Current Intent: To protect and serve Temuoplis- and her citizens and servants- as best he can. Oh, and being paired with a beautiful female agent wouldn't hurt.

History: Rexman's history is inherently intwined with the events in the history Temuoplis; events which you have no doubt heard many times before, so you will be spared most of the details.

In a nutshell, Rexman joined the Duckstapo while Temuoplis was still a fledgeling empire under the rule of Temulin. His body was destroyed during the struggle to capture the ebil madman, Scepth; his brain, the only part of him remaining, was salvaged and used to rebuild him into a cybernetic tank.

Rexman later was responsible for capturing Scepth, and followed the Temuoplis government for some time, through the conversion to Monarchy and the fall of Temulin. However, he disapeared shortly before the appearance of Pascal and Zarn Ishtare for reasons uknown.

But now, he is currently ready to return to active duty and awaits his commands from Da Rabid Duckie. He only hopes he can do all he can for the nation of Temuoplis.

Special Powers: Able to draw out all forms of energy, and to release directly any form of energy he's previously absorbed - including life energy. Able to raise the dead as zombies (undead versions of similar power level to the living version). Partakes of enhanced vampiric abilities such as stepping into one shadow and out of another, immediate regeneration from stored life energy, the ability to cause fire to flow from his hands and form various implements (a sword, for example). Misc. other space vampire abilities. Immense physical strength. A green thumb and talent for making delicious food.

Military: Large number of zombies and other undead, mostly in the Grand Mausoleum below his manor and surrounding area. Some ordinary vampires of indeterminate number. No living troops known. No high-tech forces known.

Background: Origin unknown. Has led victorious military campaigns through just about everywhere, giving him an excellent understanding of the physical geography of any field of battle (has fought everywhere at least twice). After thousands of years of military conquest, has eventually settled down to a nice out-of-the-way duchy in Romania to grow fruits and vegetables and enjoy the second life. All was going well, until the violent bickering of mortals came to threaten his green sanctuary...

Random trivia: Still has a painting of a gypsy princess who died in 1581 hanging in his home. Does not use egg in his Caesar salads. Is right-handed.

Character Name: Emperor Kaitos VII

Character Age: 19

Character Gender: Male

Character Description: Emperor of the Eagaelian Empire which consists of Korea, Vietnam and (currently in a dispute with the Alliance) the Sea of Japan. After several years in self-imposed exile, he has finally returned to rebuild his fallen empire. With help from Zarn Ishtare and his allies, the Eagaelian Emipre is well on it's way to being restored to it's former glory. A young, but capable ruler, his mission is to rebuild his empire and take back what was lost so that his people could live in peace. During the time of relative peace after the First Temuoplitan War, Puritan took advantage of his cybernetic expertise and the knowledge and technology of the Temuoplitan scientists and custom-designed cybernetic systems for his body. His entire body been biomechanically modified for efficiency and toughness, resulting in a cybernetic form that is capable of utilizing almost any fuel or organic matter for energy, immune to virtually all toxins and diseases, and extremely resiliant. Alright time to discuss symbological kinetics... but that phrase is such a mouthful. Let's call them the "arcane arts," shall we? Much easier to discuss that way. Anyway, before I post my writeup, I have a couple comments. A) These arts require enegy, and lots of it, from the user and/or a mechanism. Exact levels and amounts are to be determined by Pascal, but don't anticipate using a really powerful attack and not feeling the effects. B) The school system is intended to limit your powers. Please do not try to simply copy other powers or I am sure Pascal will mod them away. Find a school of power you like and stick with it. If your powers are similar to someone else's I am sure a certain amount of overlap will be expected, but please don't copy each other. It's childish and boring.

Other than that, things are still being designed, so feel free to discuss what's going on. I tend towards a D&D system in some aspects because that's what I'm most familiar with, but other ideas are fine. Have fun, but please don't try to unbalance the game unduly. Without further ado...

The Arcane Arts, or Ars Arcana, are at the same time a new field of structured research and an ancient art. With the recent experiences with these arcane powers by Temuoplis, a massive research effort was begun in order to understand and quantify the effects, drawbacks, and logic behind the Arcane Arts, only to discover from the Pacificans that the work that we were doing was but a parallel to their ancient research, which is itself but a minor footnote to the true arcane might of the space-vampire Kalvin Lord Graphic. Yet, as appears to be the nature of the Ars Arcana, our research has uncovered ideas and methods never discovered by the Pacificans, and many of their abilities cannot be reproduced through our knowledge and work at this point in time. Any investigation into this field appears to quickly diverge into new methods and abilities not seen by other researchers approaching the problem from a different angle, and we have been assured by the Pacificans that this has been their experience as well. The nature of this force and the strange differences coming from separate methods of research makes meticulous and careful study and training vital to any research, as a lack of care can easily result in injury or death. This work is intended to catalog Temuoplis’ major findings about these arcane powers and introduce the reader to the hazards, trials, and rewards involved in research into this field. The Ars Arcana have proved to have great potential, yet they also have terrible consequences if misused. A basic understanding will hopefully help the student avoid harm and accelerate their studies...

However, unlike these forces, it is primarily dormant, activated only when correctly stimulated, and it takes many forms, interfering with and changing matter, energy, and the other forces in the universe. While the Pacificans are unclear exactly how it was discovered…

…as mentioned previously, while the historical foundations of this study are not well understood, several principles are known to have been constant since earliest records. Firstly, that no one has managed to access this force without training and study or the utilization of innate abilities. No person or creature is known to have accessed this power without being taught how to use it or having an innate ability to touch it. Innate ability, it is to be added, is quite rare, existing only in certain ancient bloodlines, and it invariably requires as much skill and study to perfect as more generalized schools of the arcane. Secondly, the skills involved with a particular set of innate abilities or a school of research are generally closed to those without that ability or lacking the peculiar knowledge of a school of research. For example, it is impossible for me, a Temuoplitan, to summon creatures in the manner of the Pacifican nobles, for the skills required are innate to the Pacificans, and thus closed to me despite my research. In the same token, the Pacificans have found themselves incapable of reproducing Temuoplitan techno-arcanum arts, being unwilling or incapable of accepting the required physical augmentation. Thirdly, all of these arts are limited in scope and power by the knowledge and ability of the user. It is not possible for an acolyte in this field to learn the methods involved in the highest abilities and immediately use them, for only great experience and study can make the use of these methods clear and enable the user to perform them. While one can be taught many of these arts or learn them through great study, one must be taught or learn in a linear and invariably time consuming fashion, with the ability to use the higher arts requiring a certain amount of underlying understanding which increases with the power of the art used. Alright...seeing as how I have nothing better to do(Note...I am working on the Ninja Monkey Arcane Arts and I will be revealing them later...like tommorow...or Monday...or whenever I get them done) and according to Puritan you guys haven't come up with your whole summoning system thing and seeing as how I do have something in mind...I will just post my idea and let Zarn take whatever he wants from it...or just completely ignore it for the sake of completely ignoring it...so here we go...

Peanut's Idea for the School of Summoning

-First, you have a finite number of Summon Spirits or creatures or beasts or whatever you call them that have one fundamental element (if you want you could even have some super powerful ones that are multiple elements etc...). I would recomend that all of these spirits, beasts, etc...are around the same (for lack of a better term) power level. So...in otherwords...make them all insanely powerful...
-To Summon these spirits, beasts, etc...you must make a pact with them when they are active(more on that latter). This is done by defeating them in combat (could be brute fighting or answering a riddle thing...) and then by making a promise to them (such as "I promise to restore my empire" or "I promise to be an ebil Commie").
-The spirits, beasts, etc...would be located in seals scattered across the earth or even other dimensions if you want. The spirits become active when these seals unlock themselves. When the spirit becomes active, it gives off an energy signature or some sort of signal that can be detected.
-The spirits, beasts, etc...are concious beings...you'll see why this is important in a second...
-The summoners can only summon one spirit, beast, etc... at a time...while the same spirit may be bound to more then one summoner (depends on the number of spirits or beasts, etc... that exist) it cannot be summoned to two places at the same time (in other words, you can't have fifty summoners all summon the same spirit at the same time). Also, they can only exist in this plane of existance for a relatively short period of time (like a minute...or two minutes).
-Mastery of Summoning is based off of the Summoners ability to control these spirits, beasts, etc... Seeing as how they are concious beings, that will be quite difficult. So, we should expect inexperienced Summoners to watch as the spirit, beast, etc...that they summoned completely ignore their comands to attack a group of Ninja Monkey Robots and instead completely obliterate there allies and the Ninja Monkey Robots just for kicks an gigles. While Mastery of this art would be very difficult think of the benefits...you essentially get control of a juggernaught for a period of time.
-Anyone can make a pact with the spirits, beasts, etc...(Note, when I came up with this idea I was originally thinking about making this a school that was open to everyone in the Rp...not just Pacificans and friends of the Pacificans such as Puritan...)

Well there you go...I'll let Zarn decided whethere or not he wants to use this system...Also...if you have any questions...pm me or play any of the Tales games...I essentially stole this system from them and modified it slightly...

(Moved from the RP thread) I have a severe objection to the NEUTRON weapon, Pascal. Your Neutron blast cannon's ability to penetrate any and all armor is insane and illogical. Neutronium is so dense that firing it would likely be utterly impossible, it would begin to attract the matter around it. You are talking about producing matter with densities on the order of 10E13 g/cm^3 or higher and FIRING it. The gravitational pull would prohibitively large, as would be the amount of energy needed to produce the monstrous forces required to overcome the inherant instability of matter lacking protons and bind it together so it doesn't fly apart instantly (this requires massive gravitational forces, which is why neutronium only exists in neutron stars). In essence, firing the neutronium or anti-neutronium without containment would, to the best of my knowledge, result in the instant dissasociation of the neutronium and anti-neutronium and an explosion immediately after it left containment, making the weapon worse than useless. That is so absurd I wouldn't dignify it with a response if you weren't trying to turn it into a weapon. Even ignoring the instability of pure neutronium in Earth conditions, consider the effect of the anti-neutronium interacting with other matter. You are firing it pure, consider the explosion that would take place the instant it interacted with the air, as any sizable chunk of this stuff would inevitably interact moving at the speeds it is. Then you claim it penetrates armor, ignoring all the normal atoms there, until it ignites exactly where you want it to, undeterred by any physical force. Why does it ignore all matter, including any type of highly-dense material, yet only have a range of 40 km in air? It simply doesn't compute. Pascal, you are now trying to create a superweapon that is, quite honestly, bending physics to obtain your goals. Better weapons and penetration are acceptable within parameters, but this is getting into the hazy realm of uberweapons of doom that really make no sense. This is a cosmic twinkie, a weapon that is both absurd and unstoppable, and even the most powerful and as-yet unveiled weapons in my arsenal at least play by normal rules (except for the ZPEB weapons and ZPE generators you yourself created). Scale your weapons to a reasonable level and follow your own rules, because this is both irrational and an attempt at creating an unstoppable weapon that can destroy anything and everything. Antimatter charges or ZPEB weapons in highly-dense penetrating covering, fine, but this is a travesty.

Story

This is the story of war, peace and all things national. It was a story that began long ago in the goof off forums of CAA and handed down from generation to generation. Queen Temulin, first leader of communist Russia, and then monarch queen of the nation of Temuoplis, would carve the way of civilization for the uncivilized. By her leadership she would unify many of the nations of the Earth under her rule. However, she was not without resistors of her state, her wave of power soon formed the backlash of fear associated with such great power, and soon citizens from within and nations from without formed to destroy the state. Battles began, first small, and then larger, but as darkness fell chaos overtook the land and Temulin was thrown from power by her own closest supporters left alone in the struggle for civilization.

Yet along the horizon a new hope arose in Da Rabid Ducki and Puritan, both great scientists, these men bought society from the ashes on the wings of modern scientific thought. They unified the embittered forces of both Temuoplis and the states with which she was warring. The Forces of the now named, Temuoplis, Mintis, SIEJJ, Eagealian Empire, Jaltus-Bot Rebels, the Peannutter Empire and Osakan Empire. Together they stood in peace and prosperity, at least for a time. Yet were they right in taking the thrown from Temulin and distributing her power among the populace in free democracy?

Time would not give the nations a chance to answer, for chaos soon rolled upon chaos and the winds of war blew from every direction. Temulin, heartbroken at her exile from power took refuge in the broken United Nations. Rumors of kidnapping, clone warriors, strange armies and a new underwater nation soon surfaced to reveal a terrible fate. The planet was forced into a battle of confusion and survival, but in the nations interquibbling, the world was almost lost, and humanities last light almost snuffed out. Only at the last moment, when all seemed lost did Temulin and this new nation turned superpower (led by Zarn Ishtare) ally with the alliance to take down the threat to humanity in a heroic battle of galactic proportions.

Yet, despite their brief unification forged by fire, their friendships were not to remain solid. Even as the war came to a close, the forces of mistrust and destruction began between the two new alliances. Yet the Earth now stood divided, not as before, with on great alliance, but with two great alliances. Temulin and Zarn both bolstered their own new military while the Alliance lost some of it’s strength. The world stands split between two great forces, but history has shown and will show, that the fate of nations is not won by leaders alone, but by the force of all of their people working in unison.

Come enjoy the grand world born in goofing off and grown into a wonderful world of power, nations, soldiers, scientists and people from all walks of life. Nation: Federated Empire of American Rationalists
Economy: Entrepenuerism
Current Region: The East Coast of the fomer URS to the Canadian border where the Ninja Monkeys are. Somewhat like the original URS in size. IE 13 original colonies.
Military Type: Techno-Industrial Steam-Punk

Story: The Federated Empire of American Rationalists originally start out as reactionary ellement to the Ninja Monkey Invasion to the North, a rich history of chaos and violence within the URS following the great war of PASCAL and strong nationalist movements within the East Coast regions of the United States to form an autonomous country which could support its people with a healthy economy and sufficient military force for the purposes of self defense and national economic support (ala the original United States). Which of the above components crystalized the initiation of an actual nation state remain unknown, but all are ultimately responicible for the consequent actions that resulted in the autonomous nation.

These mild mannered goals first sought out by the nation would quickly pass however as the stabalization of the region and the influx of new ideas from the Ninja Monkey's in the north due to initial trade resulted in a new economic philosophy put forward by Federated Empire of American Rationalist Economist, Daniel Green. The economic theory stated that nations which promote the most bussiness growth do the best and hence a nation should do everything within its power to boost bussinesses over people. Thus, instead of a healthy economy, Federated Empire of American Rationalists now sought out a booming economy with which their nation could expand (Hence making them an empire).

Consequently, Federated Empire of American Rationalists made the following economic amendments to its constitution.

1) All companies within the nation are exempt from "taxes" but are forced to devote a certain component of their profits to "supportive investments".

2) A supportive investment is an investment in any other company that helps the investing company grow (such as an investment in a sawblade company by a logging company). If such investments yield fruit, the interest returns directly to the investing company itself, but the original supportive investment can not be pulled out (Only the interest).

3) No company can work towards its own detriment. (EG a foreign oil company cannot buy out your company as such an act violates the retainment of national assets... once you've started a company you can always gain fruit from that company, but that company cannot be sold to any party that refuses to follow these same guidlines)

4) All companies may merge so long as they follow the guidlines of the law.

5) No national currency can be spent towards the detriment of any other company, the only form of legal competition is the betterment of personal products or services, not the destruction of others through negative advertising or placebo based media.

6) All civilians must pay a flat minimal tax which goes directly to supporting the companies and their right to work in a peaceful enviroment as well as supporting the minimal governmental structure in place. All individuals unable to work, must volunteer at least 20 hours a week in exchange for suppot towards living and a small stipend for enjoyment of products and services within the country. (This is labeled as their "Supportive Investment" for a local police force.

7) All indivduals who store over $500,000 (Current US dollars) within a Federated Empire of American Rationalists banks are exempt from national taxes gained from any future funds earned within the nation as individuals as taxation on such earnings is taken from interest accrued by Federal Banks from the money stored.

8) Concerning the rules that bussinesses must follow within the Federated Empire of American Rationalists. Save those that negatively impact (Other then simple effects of growth due to capitalism) other companies or the national government, there are no rules except growth and expansion.

In other words, Federated Empire of American Rationalists was a cooperate and industrial paradise. Without regulations to curve growth, lack of cooperate taxation personal freedom for the universes most wealthy individuals, the region was prime realistate for any cooperation seeking to make a start, or any other foreign companies that sought a region to do bussiness.

This might make the military and infilstructue stance of this nation seem rather weak, but the contrary was true. Instead, the nation itself held a set of Federal Companies, initiated at the start whose duties positively influenced the affairs of the national cooperations. Road Construction Companies employed civilians for the production of roadways for the transportation of goods. A privatized military force was funded for the guarding of armored cars from banks, or the guarding of cooperate facilities that were vunerable to attack or vandalization by unwanted individuals and for the eventual expansion into foreign territory for the purposes of cooperate growth.

Thus "Supportive Investments" in these companies and purchases of their services were common. Especially given that not all companies would follow the fine tuned words of the law and might hire their own espionage agents for the destruction of your new petroleum plant... But nationalised forces were generally pretty good at keeping opponents at bay and keeping the atmosphere moving towards rapid growth. This was the beggining atmosphere with which Federated Empire of American Rationalists began it's march, with the belief that this system would turn them into a major empire which would match their namesake.

OOC: The idea for the economy comes fom an extremist perspective of a new economic theory of mine, which elliminates taxation in exchange for interfaces that positively influence the economy. Some components are not same in that I'm looking to refine the theory so that it boosts greater growth the capitalism but contains positive humanistic elements the structures such as socialism or communism originally sought out. By the way, all nations can support companies within my own and reap huge dividends for their own. This should especially be noted to JM who owns a rather large militay company if I'm correct, it would do nice to start up a base on the East Coast as soon as I set this up... they can even acquire deals from other companies for purchases that the regular national military would normally acquire. There are no rules after all saying that any company has to give preference to the national military service for defense purposes over any other company.
