Hi, I'm TMMercury

I'm a big anime fan and I'm actually writing my doctoral thesis on the subject.

My favorite animes are (in no order):
GetBackers
Saiyuki
Sgt. Frog
Hellsing Ultimate
Bleach
Fullmetal Alchemist
Trigun
Samurai Champloo
Ghost in the Shell

My favorite mangas are (in no order):
Bleach
Samurai Deeper Kyo
Hellsing
Blade of the Immortal
Black Cat

I'm a voracious reader (not just manga) and I love to play video games.

Welcome to CAA. CAA is the cool place to hang out. You can find most of the cool people here. At CAA you can just chill and do whatever and totally relax. "Take it easy" is the CAA motto, for example, that's how laid back it is here. Show up if you want to have a good time. Another good reason to show up is if you want to hang out with friends. =)

Thanks for the great welcome everyone. (Yes, I'd love a jelly baby).

My thesis is using Anime/Manga as an Evangelism Tool for Disfranchised and Disaffected young adults & youth. I'm in my first of five semesters.

Wha...what is this madness? I've never seen somebody accept this. (then again, it's probably because I'm a newish member myself)

Well, that certainly sounds interesting. Though the only Christian manga I've ever read is "Manga Messiah". I'm curious to see how your thesis is going to work out.

Well, I also love Dr. Who, so I totally got the reference. I even had a real Jelly Baby when I was in England a few years back.

I grew up with Tom Baker's Dr. Who, I'd be pretty sad if I didn't catch the reference.
