Hello everyone, I'm posting here because I am planning on hanging around the CAA forums for a bit. Just graduated college and discovered a plethora of new-found free time. Been lurking around the site for awhile now since a few of my IRL friends are here (looking at you Mech). Been real busy with classes but now I don't have that excuse anymore, so here I am.
A little about me, I grew up in a christian household, did the church thing when I was little but held off on any kind of baptism ceremony till I was older and could make the decision for myself. Got my Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts where much fun was had camping and hiking, etc. Current interests include Video gaming with my bros, archery, some wargamming, anime (although this last season seemed kinda lack-luster).
I think that should be it for now, gonna go sign up with the Steam group in the gaming section.
I guess I'll do the Q/A thing since that seems to cover anything I missed.
See ya all around!

1. What's your favorite amusement park(s)?
Haven't been to one in years, (they're also alot more expensive then they used to be) Disneyland is fun for nostalgia while Knotts and Magic Mountain have the big coasters. I think I enjoyed Knotts the most but it could just have been since I was with a bunch of friends.
2.Who's your favorite anime characters?
Kamina (Gurren Laggan) for his over the top manliness and inspirational persona
Luffy (One Piece) for his endless curiosity and unrelenting devotion to his allies
Maes Huges (FMA) he's such a likeable guy!
Captain Tylor (The Irresponsible Captain Tylor) A likeable fool who tries hard to treat everyone as individuals and will break the rules if it helps a companion.
there are more but if I had to pick some top ones these guys would be it.
3.What's your favorite restaurant(s)?
Good ramen place "Chop chop grill" near school was always good, Flamebroiler, Albertos is good for a 2am food run. Fancy restaurant wise... Olive Garden, Red Lobster (om nom shrimp).
4.What's your favorite food?
Mac and Cheese (how can something with 2 ingredients taste so good!)
5.Do you have any siblings?
1 younger brother
6.Do you follow the latest fashion, like in magazines, on models, etc?
Nope, I don't get out enough to warrant the time spent keeping up with fashion.

I'll have to keep an eye out for those

Haha yes I have seen the Truman show. Actually when I sat down to write the post, I noticed not everyone here is in the same time zone so I wanted to say good whatever-time-it-is.

Oh hi! I think I know you sort of!
Who's your ultimate favorite LoL character to play?
PostPosted: Thu Jun 16, 2011 1:29 am
by Moose
Yes I have played LoL with you.
Favorite character is Anivia the Cryopheonix
Although Mech and I have been getting a mean Lux(me) / Teemo (mech) combo to start working well (11 kills before 10 min mark)
Now that you mention it I didn't see a LoL thread in the gamers section... time to fix that.

Hi and welcome! ^____^
What's your favourite anime?
What is your favourite place in the world?
How are you?
Where would you go if you could go anywhere?

Hi there Nanao
1.What's your favourite anime?
I would have to say One Piece for its absolutely massive variety of characters and random/unpredictable universe its set in. Each of the main characters are useful and have unique abilities as well as personalities and flaws. I also enjoyed how little power leveling there was in the show and that most fights relied on a kind of rock/papers/scissors elemental type and also how creative a character got with their powers.
2.What is your favourite place in the world?
Well having not traveled all of it or living in one area for a long time, I enjoyed England when I was there on family vacation. Salzburg Austria was also a really pretty town with nice people and good food.
3.How are you?
I'm doing pretty good. In between finishing school and looking for a job. I have no idea what I want to do for a career, to look for a job near home, go see whats available out of state, so many options >.<
4.Where would you go if you could go anywhere?
I would like to go where I can do the most good with skills I have. I went into engineering because I wanted to make myself useful to helping others in a more physical capacity (fixing things, building things, etc.), now I just need to find a place to do that while still being able to afford living expenses. but that's kind of a rant for another time.
In the spirit of the question however... New Zealand because PRETTY!
