When God made me he slapped a warning label on me...

"WARNING! THIS HUMAN BEING IS HYPERACTIVE! SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION MAY OCCUR! SUGAR, CAFFEINE, CHOCOLATE MAY INCREASE RISK OF ENERGETIC EXPLOSION!"

Now that you've seen the label... is there anyone feeling dangerous?

I have just a few questions...(So we can get to know you better!)
So how did you find our secret base?
What hobbies do you have?
Read a lot of books?

I found it a few years ago, I've been on before but it's been a long time. (I shall not reveal the secrets of how I found this secret base. )

My hobbies are:

reading/writing
digital/graphic art
working with kids
missions/outreach
media at church
music
friends/family

Most book reading is when I feel like it. I haven't read as much as I used to, but I read a lot on the internet. Some of my closest friends are writers... we read each other's stuff a lot.

I read "Foxe's Book of Christian Martyrs" last year along with Love This by Andy Braner and The Missions Addiction by david Shibley. I also read The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun and Of Like Passions by Margaret Gaines.

I am trying to focus on reading the Bible more often than I have been.

so, I'll try again.

I joined this a few years ago, but never used it then because I wasn't that much into anime at the time that I had discovered anime. Over time though I started to like it and now I'm praying hard for some real christian anime. I've found some good online manga, but as I found so far no christian anime exists.

as for books... I am not much of a book reader as I used to be. I do have a few books that I want to read. They sit on my shelf as a reminder, but I get so busy with all the other things I do.

Anyway, Hi and welcome, I too am a writer, though, I'm not published (I wish.) We hope you enjoy our world.

What does a penguin plus a peach equal in terms of the earth going round?

when I started writing I was in high school. It was a mix of poetry here and some random insanity personal fanfiction between me and a high school friend. I did write some original story ides, but haven't touched them in ages. I am however currently writing a story that plays inside my head like an anime/manga. It's Christian and it talks about a lot of serious issues that young people today are dealing with or going through. (when I say Young people, i'm referring to 18 years old and older, maybe from 18 to late 20s/early 30s. There are some "high school flashbacks" that the characters have.

It has a Japan side and an American side. I can write stories no problem...

I can't draw people worth a flip! especially anime/manga style.... (but I do a lot of art anyway, though it's abstarct/digital/graphic)

I don't have any fave stories right now. I've been out of the loop for awhile. I once liked Naruto, but there was adeep conviction in my heart that God didn't want me to watch it anymore.... I didn't know why at the time, but now when I look back I see why. I had a HUGE problem with the sibling rivalry issue between sasuke and itachi. And the whole Chakra (spelling?) was getting on my nerves. Chakra is a huge part of hinduism...

I understand now though that there is no such thing as real christian anime....

I still have fruits basket on my shelf... i haven't watched it in ages. Akito is male in the anime, but in the manga, akito is female... so to avoid Akito's gender confusion I haven't watched it in a long time.
