At least to some of you. It's not really afternoon everywhere I realize.
ANYHOW!

Just wanted to properly introduce myself.
I'm Julianne H.
I'm from Massachusetts, USA.

I am a Christian aka, follower of Jesus and growing in the knowledge of what it means to really live fully for Him.

I've liked anime since I was 14, I'm now 22.
I've had my breaks from it here and there, due to problems with idolizing it at times and becoming obsessed. [just like anything, really] Also the fact that my dad has never really been a fan of it. My mom didn't really mind all that much, in fact she kind of liked some of it. Anyhow. That's why I had a break from it, then I slowly started watching it again when I was about 17.

I don't like ALL anime, because, like anything. Some of it may be good, but I also believe a good portion of it isn't good also.
Which shouldn't be surprising since the majority of the population of Japan are not Christian or have little to no knowledge of Jesus and who He even is.

Because of that amongst other things, I am greatly interested in learning as much as I can of Japanese culture, so I can better understand them, so that me and my soon-to-be husband can go out there and share the word of Truth with them. So my purpose for watching anime as two motives.

Decent entertainment and delight of the Japanese art, and also education of learning how the Japanese think and feel overall about spirituality and life, as well as customs. And the language, of course.

So there you have it.

I'm happy to meet you all. :)

Yes, languages are a lot of fun. My mom is mostly Nicaraguan [which is located in Central America] and so I know a good portion of spanish as well. It's been great. That's really cool that you desire also to go to Japan to be a witness! Super! Maybe we will meet up someday, eh? = D

Hi there!

Web comics? uhmm. I'm not sure. I actually did read some of Spiderman online a couple times and I've tried to read the translations of Saiunkoku Monogatari online. But I'm not sure that counts. :P

Hello! Good to meet you as well!

My favorite color is green, it always has been. [Maybe because I was born on March 17th, which is St. Patrick's Day.
Favorite emote is :poke:
Favorite thing? Oh goodness, that's a tough one. Uhm. I really love my stuffed animals. I don't know if that's silly? But its true. So as far as physical objects go, that would be it. Aside from that. I love spending time with God and really listening to Him and drawing closer to Him. :)
