Hello! ^_^
So I stumbled upon this site a couple days ago and after looking around it a bit I decided to join.

A little bit about me...
Favorite anime: Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Favorite manga:Either Fullmetal Alchemist or Sailor Moon (Why did FMA have to end? D': )
Hobbies: Drawing, reading, playing on the computer, going on walks, and daydreaming. ^_^
Favorite bands: Evanescence, Skillet, Taylor Swift... Lady Gaga (I know! So many of her songs have horrid lyrics, but I could dance to Telephone all day long.)

That's all I can think of at the moment, but if you have any random questions don't be afraid to ask. :)

Hey, nice to meet you! Awesome pic for fave anime ;)

So how long have you been into anime/manga?
Do you have a favorite genre?

Thank you. ^_^

I was a fan of Pokemon, Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Ohwhen I was younger, but I'm not sure that counts because I didn't even know that they were anime. Back when the english dub of Sailor Moon was on the air I tried to watch that, but I could never remember when it was on so I didn't get to watch it much, and once again I didn't know it was anime. I finally really got into anime when I rediscovered Sailor Moon in 2006. (I kinda hate the english dub that I once liked, but it's good with subtitles. ^_^ )

Comedy.

Welcome to CAA ^^ I hope you enjoy it here :) Feel free to let us know if you have any questions ^^

Lol, I know there's not too many Gaga fans out there, but I like a couple of her songs ^^ Some of them are pretty catchy O.O

Yes, they do, not what I meant but yeah, those are fun too.

Top Tetris score here is; 9,212 by my sister.

Do you watch any non-animae TV shows?

Well I automatically like you based solely on your username. I'm a huge fan of Sailor Saturn, she's the best.

Greetings, and welcome to CAA!!

Do read normal books? (My friend doesn't.) If so, which ones?

sailorsaturn wrote:Favorite bands:...Taylor Swift...

Oh, yes! I'm a fan, as well! (Though I come from the country side of her audience.) What are some of your favorite songs by her?

Hi, sailorsaturn.:) My second favorite anime character next to Sailor Moon.

To Tsukuyomi - Thanks I'll be sure to do that. And that kinda reminds me of my friend for some reason. She claims to HATE Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson, I've even seen her leave a room when some of Michael Jackson's music comes on, but I think that she was just told by someone else that they were bad and believed them because if one of their songs come on and you don't tell her the artist is she doesn't mind. I've even caught her dancing to some of them. XD

To MomentOfInertia - Yes, but not much. I really like Malcolm in the Middle and The Simpsons. ^_^

To Nate - *Gives a high five.*

To Fllmtl Novelist - Yes, currently I'm not reading for fun because I have to read The Last of the Mohicans for school and I know that if I had another book I would never get this think finished in time, but once I'm done I plan on reading either The Hidden Stars by Madeline Howard or Brisingr by Christopher Paolini because I've had them both for a while and haven't found the time to read them. (I'm leaning toward Brisingr because I'm a huge Eragon fan. ^_^ )

To Lilac#18 - Sorry I didn't get you in the last post, I did see you.
That's awesome. Have you read the manga?

That's okay. I did read some of the manga online, but not all of them. I was trying to search for another site to read the manga because the other site was kinda screwy. I have one Sailor Moon manga which is the very last vol. I had another one, but I lost it.:(

To Lilac#18 - Wow, you OWN some of the manga? Where in the world did you find it?! :P

To Lynna - Haha, it good to see another fan. ^_^

Does anyone know why my post count only counts the posts that I make in this thread?

If all your other posts were made in Goof-Off threads, that's why. Posts made in Goof-Off don't count. (Or else my own post count would be colossal. XD)

One day someone from India is going to join CAA, and you're going to say that and they're going to feel insulted and offended that you think their language was created on that show, and I'm going to laugh heartily.

I got one of them from estarland.com (If this site is illegal, could a mod please delete it because I don't know whether or not it is. Sorry if it is.) were I haven't been to in a long time. I went to the site today and it doesn't seem to sale any manga anymore. The other manga I got from was either Suncoast or Walden which use to be at a mall I go to sometimes.

As to the manga:
One site that for-sure is good is Rightstuf.com. Very reliable, very reputable, deal in anime, manga, and various other anime-related items. There's also Amazon.com (yes, they sell manga! :thumb:). Or your local Borders or Barnes and Noble might have a shelf or two. I'm big on manga myself, and always buy from these places :)

I'm not a big fan of sitcoms, but I did watch Everybody Loves Raymond for quite a while.

Brisingr is a very good book I highly recommend it.(can I get a YES from Lynna to?)

Have you read any other fantasy novels?

To Rocklobster - ^_^ Thanks

To Lilac#18 - Cool. I know a place that has the entire manga, and I've never had problems. If you'd like me to send you a link to it just tell me. :)

Tp Atria35 - Thanks, I'll check those places out sometime.

To Angel37 - Thanks. ^_^

MomentOfInertia - I read Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen a while ago... I'm also a Harry Potter fan... *thinks back* I read some of Ted Dekker's Cirle Series.

To Armeckthefirst - Just tell your friends that they should try daydreaming so they can understand why you think it's so fun. :P

To Cadence - *Cracks up at your avatar* Oh my Gosh, that cat it so cute!
Thanks :) ... *Laughs at the avatar again* His eyes!

(mod snip: CAA discourages linking to illegal manga scanlations sites. Please refer to the forum rules for more information: http://www.christiananime.net/faq.php?faq=caa_info#faq_new_faq_item)

You start off reading it as anormal manga, but at some point (I forget where) everything gets mirrored and you read left to right as if it where written in english. (It threw me off for a while and I even quit reading it because nothing was making sense, but I came back and saw what had happened... I had to reread a lot. :P )
