You Ask, I Answer

So I am seeing the trend here to do interview-like questions. I kinda like this idea other than my original intro thread. LOL So ya! Ask me any questions and I will answer... this may get funny. LOL And as an added flair to the fun, any question asked me or of a list of questions, I can choose one to ask the asker! LOL But to be fair, it will only be a question asked of me.

Favorite movie star would be Jimmy Stuart or Gary Cooper.
Favorite Movie is a tie between "Shop Around the Corner" and "Beau Geste" and "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" and "The Quiet Man". LOL
Worst movie I ever saw was a Christian flick, so called, where the characters' sin was actually glorified as "real struggles"... that and Clash of the Titans... and Transformers 2... I also really didn't like... LOL
Favorite dessert is either donuts or pie
flavor is always lemon lime or blueberry.

Oh, where do I even begin? Well, my mom likes this local tv show that happens on Sat nights, where they show all these really old, really bad movies and make fun of them. A few of those were so bad, the jokes just didn't work! I don't remember the names, though
So, what is your favorite genre?

I've seen Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. I'm such an 'old movie' junkie, though I haven't seen that particular movie in a while...I hardly remember it...
Anyway, do you watch any kids' cartoons?
Are you a Doctor Who fan?
What's your favorite anime or manga?

LOL Sounds like mystery science theater!
My favorite genre, when it comes to prose, is Romance or Drama. When it comes to Manga, Sci-fi or Action, when it comes to movies, Romantic Comedy or Musical, and when it comes to poetry, Theology or Authorian Romance.
My favorite novels include Pride and Prejudice by Austen, War and Peace by Tolstoy, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, and The Pilgrim's Progress by Bunyan!
Favorite Authors include Jane Austen, Leo Tolstoy, Charles Dickens, John Bunyan, John Calvin, Charles Spurgeon, and John Owen.
Most stressful class was Geometry!
And no, I haven't really had a bad sunburn. I don't burn that easily... I don't even tan that easily! But I was just distressed to find that my Betrothed was sunburned (I hope you will forgive me, I know this isn't about her, but she really is on my mind all the time!)
What are your favorite Authors?

LOL Yes, I watch kids cartoons! LOL I have two really young brothers so I'd watch Under Dog with them or Veggie Tales. LOL
No, I am not over familiar with Dr. Who... My dad used to though.
My favorite Anime/Manga is "Darker Than Black" It just doesn't get better than that!
Uhm... I have probably said a piece of work was "perverted, twisted trash that deserves to be burned, every copy!" (That happened to be the Three Musketeers) LOL

lol, no prob about the fiance- I think I'd be the same way if I had one!
My favorite authors would have to be... Shakespeare, Bill Bryson, Eoin Colfer, and ...
I don't tend to follow authors, I have to say- I follow series and titles, but other than those I don't think I've actually read more than one title/series from one author
I didn't realize this until now....
Have you ever watched foriegn films? (anime doesn't count for this question!

Live action TV... I really liked Twilight Zone... and Get Smart. LOL
Yes, I have watched Captain Harlock and am just beginning following his story but I really like the character so far.
I don't follow any given series... the closest would probably G.A. Henty's books, but I don't follow them so much anymore. And my favorite therein was "In The Reign of Terror".
Probably my dad's TShirt which was a barbecue menu of Road Kill dishes! LOL

Great list of authors nonetheless!
I have only watched one foreign film and that was the German movie about Sophia... something or another from the White Rose who was executed for resisting the Third Reich.
No, I don't typically watch TV shows from other countries... unless its some Scotch program about Scotland!
Yes, I have watched one or two soap operas... I don't exactly understand them.
The scariest movie I have ever seen was Mars Attacks! ROTFL!!! I'm not kidding either... that gave me nightmares for years!
OK, have you ever watched a soap opera?

.... I totally blame my parents for not letting me off the couch when I was sick for my exposure to soap operas. Yes. I semi-regularly watched General Hospital when I was... man, I must have been in kindergarten! I knew who people were after a few epsiodes, and thought it was hilariously melodramatic. Nowadays, I follow what's considered 'soaps' from other countries, mainly Taiwan and Korea, which have far better stories, have actual endings, and storylines you can follow!

LOL Its just American soaps that have no depth! LOL I see! ROTFL!!! What does that say for American writers or is it the American audience that is to blame! LOL
Well, I am madly in love with the lady so I gladly talk about her all the time!!! XD
Yes, she knows I enjoy some manga and knows about my brother and my project!
And she supports it!
As to manga, she doesn't have anything against it... she already knows my high sense of honour and knows I wouldn't watch/read anything that would dishonour her. XD
LOL And she and I met over the internet (yes, it can happen lol) on a homeschool networking website. She and I have been friends for a while now before I finally got the brains to ask for her hand in marriage! But I am so thankful the Lord lead me to do so and that she said YES!!!

Alright, do you read any book series? any favorites?
Series are about all I read. Here's some of the ones I currently read:
Ender's Game series by Orson Scott Card
Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter
Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind
Ranger's Apprentice by John Flanagan
Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and currently Brandon Sanderson
A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin
I've also read Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia, The Space trilogy, Lois Lowry's Giver trilogy, The Wrinkle in Time quartet, Animorphs, and LOTR.
more questions:
Do you read any American comics? (newspaper ones count too)
Have you watched Galaxy Express 999? (it's an anime available on Crunchy Roll that is by the same person who created Harlock. Harlock even makes a cameo appearance in an episode or two, but has a different VA)

I used to read X-men, Spider-man, Elfquest (now i read what I missed online), Bone, JLA (I read almost the entire Grant Morrison run), and The Invisibles (a great Grant Morrison comic if you can handle stuff that makes you wonder what drugs the writer was on:dizzy:)
