CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Hi everyone! I am new, obviously. I am kind of a very casual anime fan. There are certain anime I like and watch them. I am actually more of a fan of Tokusatsu. I know I saw one other fan out there when I was perusing the topics. Anyway, as you can see by my avatar I like Death Note. I actually just started watching it and it is awesome! I am only on episode 6 so please do not spoil anything for me. I also like Digimon, Detective Conan, Tsubasa Chronicles, Kino's Journey, Haruhi Suzumyia, and other stuff. I am a 19 year old male college student and more importantly I am a born-again believer in Jesus Christ. Another thing about me is that I am a comic book geek. So that is some things about me. I hope to have fun here and hopefully I will have the time to be active. Oh and one of my friends at school here said he used to be a member but he did not tell me his username.

That's a hard one. I'll start with the easier question of which I am following.

Currently, I am watching Kamen Rider Black, Blade, Hibiki, and Double. I am also watching Gekiranger, Go-Onger, adn Shinkenger. I almost done Shinkenger, only about 4 or 5 episodes left. I am also watching Ultraman MAX.

I have finished 555, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, and Decade

Kamen Rider is my favorite show and as far as which series amongst it, that is really hard. lol. It's really a competition between Den-O and 555. Although, Blade is starting to push its way into the competition.

Hi Wolf-man, welcome to the forum. Depending on your definition of a 'casual anime fan', I too am casual. I haven't seen too many of them, and am not in a hurry to take everything in... I like to take my time. LOL

I know it's my age showing, but I can't help but hear your posts in my mind in the voice of Wolfman Jack. Anyone old enough to know who I'm talking about should try it; it's hilarious.

But enough of that. Welcome, Wolfman! You sound like you should fit right in around here!

FINISH BLADE. Although not quite at the top of my list of favorite series (it is like number 5 or so) Blade has bar-none the absolute BEST ending I have seen in pretty much any series. It blew me away, how perfect it was, how it had been set up for since near the middle of the series, and so on.

Hibiki is my favorite series of all even though the quality of the show does go down a bit after episode 30 (when the new director took over). It's still my favorite though, and I don't care what other people say, I liked the ending to it.

For the record I'm following W/Goseiger/Rescue Fire at the moment, and I'm just about to start Agito in a bit, and I'll finish V3 once I get my DVD player working again.

It's really a competition between Den-O and 555. Although, Blade is starting to push its way into the competition.

I liked Faiz until the ending. Faiz was a great series but the ending was pretty awful, although I was glad to see that they at least had the good sense to kill off Kaixa. And Den-O is my second favorite series after Hibiki, so yeah. XD

Lol Well yeah I agree about Faiz's ending. It was not so great. I still love the show. I want to watch more of Blade but I watch it with my brother which is hard because we go to different colleges so I probably won't finish that until the summer. I didn't mention Gosieger because it's not out yet...well I guess it's out in Japan but TV-Nihon hasn't started their subs yet so I don't count it till it starts.

Ah you go to TVN too. Yeah they haven't gotten episode 1 up yet, but being familiar with their usual releases, it'll probably be up today (Friday) or tomorrow. I've been watching the promos they subbed though so that's why I say I'm following it.

Yep. Ore Tanjou was good, Climax Deka was dull and boring, Saraba was awesome, and Chou Den-O was pretty cool too. I'm looking forward to the fifth movie.

Quite a bit. I have seen all the show movies subbed so I would say I am pretty familiar with them. Also, as I told Nate, I am watching Black.

Of course if your a Toku fan and you don't go to TVN then you need to be shown the light.

I didn't think Climax Deka was too bad. I would agree it is defiantly the worst Den-O movie but it had it's fun moments to it. The biggest disappointment was that I was expecting a true full out crossover between Kiva and Den-O which is was not.

I have not actually read the manga, though I have watched the Anime. I am more in American comics. I haven't read much Manga.
