Hi everyone. I'm new here. My name is Erik, but you can call me Agape. I just became a new born again christian in 2005, and I was raised in the church my whole life. I discovered my love for anime when I was very young like 6 or 7 watching it saturday mornings on the Sci-Fi channel. It's so wonderful to find a messageboard network of christians who LOVE ANIME. I couldn't ask for anything better on the net.

Thanks you guys. I do have alot of questions about your site. I still find it wonderful to find a fellowship of christians gathering on the internet to talk about and share views about one of the things I really love, anime. I don't know about you guys but to me it seems hard to find other poeple who are interested in something like this, especially christians. But then again i haven't been around much.

To answer ShiroiHikari's question, my favorite kinds of animes are action, adventure, drama, epic, and mystery animes. If you want me to give you a list of all the animes I've seen just let me know. I'll have to dig around in that old dusty, cobweb filled closet called my memory though.

Feel free to ask any questions ^^

Would mystery anime be like Paranoia Agent, Higurashi, and Case Closed ^^?

I haven't seen Paranoia Agent or Higurashi, but I've seen a little of Case Closed and I liked it. I heard it was pretty grapgic though in many parts. I guess when I say "mystery" I mean stuff like Big O or the Dark Knight. Though I have always been a fan of Batman since I wa younger. Not so much now though.

A couple of my friends who are Christians like anime, but only about four of them. Some people think it's kinda silly, I think it's fascinating and you could also learn some about the culture.

Yeah I think so too. And also, depending on what anime you are watching, you could learn alot about the realities of life too. But it depends on what animes you watch.
