Jessica, there you are! Welcome to the CAA, I'm so glad you joined! And yeah, there's a thread about conventions in the General forum and a bunch of the people are going to Otakon. At least four of us usually end up hanging together. We try to plan a CAA dinner, too. Be nice if that actually came to fruition once . . .

YAY! Yes, here I is... I will probably not be too involved in posting until I get a good feel for the forum and members, but... We ALL love a lurker, right? ^_^;
Ahhh, umm, anyways... awesomeness. I will look under the general thread for the Con stuff. Would be cool to find some nearby Christian otaku to meet-n-greet at Metrocon, too...

Hey Neko-chan! Now the 3 are united....I just found SpoonyBard a little bit ago, and ran a little search to find you. This here would be my second post...being so new and inexperienced at forum posting makes me feel a bit....I dunno.....leery? Still, it's fun and I hope to make lots of friends, too. Wish me luck. Seems you're off to a good start already!

For those who aren't in the know here at CAA, SpoonyBard is my very good friend IRL now for many years, and NekoChan_C is my significant other. They're both incredibly intelligent and rabid otaku...you won't make better friends than these 2. The ol' Bard is like a little brother, and as for NekoChan? Well, let's just say she sent a mech-sized, jet powered "Rocket Punch" straight to my heart, and I haven't been able to recover since. Luv you guys! And Spoony...thanks for introducing me to CAA.
