~~Hello, CAA!

Hi.

I'm Sae-chan, but you can call me Sae. (It's not much of a nickname, but whatever!) Don't ask me how I got that name; I literally thought of it while sitting in front of the computer at the "Register" window!

I'm... well, on the border of a born-again Christian. I'm trying to get over my addiction to this one site; thankfully, it's not as addicting now, but I know there will be more temptations to come.

I love anime. I can't remember exactly when I got into it, but since that time I've submerged myself into different animes. A big one was Naruto, but I've recently lost interest in that and moved onto an anime my friend recommended, Prince of Tennis - or in Japanese, Tennis no Ohjisama. I've also read the first volume of Full Moon O Sagashite. (Gotta love Takuto!)

One of my hobbies is drawing manga. I can barely draw realistic-type, but I can sure draw manga! I would upload some of my drawings, but as of right now I haven't scanned anything into the computer. Maybe in the future. ;)

I also love to write, and I have a knack for twisting and tweaking the plotline of animes. Lately, I've been writing fanfiction about Naruto, but my ongoing story is slowly dying... *sigh* And besides, I'm more into Prince of Tennis now.

Another hobby of mine is listening to music. (Actually, I do it more than I probably should. But I have a volume limit!) I like listening to Christian Rock. One of my favorite CDs is Switchfoot's The Beautiful Letdown. I really like those songs! Another CD is Rebecca St. James's If I Had the Chance to Tell Your Something. I also like listening to Japanese rock - mostly songs from the animes I watch! Some of my favorites are Haruka Kanata, Yura Yura, and Remember from Naruto and Black Rain, Tsubasa no Kizuna, and The Ache of My Heart from Prince of Tennis.

I'm a homeschooler, too. But I'm not saying my grade! You've got to figure that out on your own. ^^

I think that's it. Thanks for reading my bio!

Hey Sae, its really great that you joined the CAA. I think thats a cool nick name. I do like Naruto and Prince of Tennis as well. Im sure we can help you get over this addiction, because to me CAA is probably the most addicting site that Ive been on since a little while ago. Your just a jack of all trades, aren't ya! Drawing manga, writing, watching anime, and listening to music. Id say your hobbies are well rounded. Well I hope you enjoy it here on CAA, try to come when you can!

Hello and a very warm welcome to you, Sae. I hope you enjoy it here. ^_^
A fellow artist and a Fullmoon fan? That really makes you ten times more awesome. I hope to see some of your art, when you, and if you're willing to, post it.

Thanks! I feel so loved... ^^

@ Mithrandir: Nuthouse? Haha, that's a funny nickname for CAA...
@ animedude90: Whoohoo! I found a fellow Naruto and Prince of Tennis fan! ^^ I'll be coming here instead of that site more. The CAA is great! And I guess I am a Jack-of-trades. Meh, I do like a lot of things, don't I?
@RidleyofZebes: Thanks! Glad to see a fellow homeschooler as well! I'll try to scan some of my drawings later this week. Maybe I can color in Photoshop, as well... that is, once I learn how to. ;)
@goldenspines: Yep, a fellow artist and a Fullmoon fan. ^^ Like I said to RidleyofZebes, I'll try to scan some of my drawings and color them... once I learn how to.

Thanks for the welcome! ^^

Welcome to the CAA, Sae-chan! Sae...there was a Sae in Peach girl (though she was diabolically E-VILE! ;) ), is that where you got it from? I've actually yet to see Prince of Tennis though it looked like a very promising anime. You'll have to tell me all about it so I can become hooked!

I am a Switch-head myself. You should check out Jon Foreman's solo release but I'm sure you already have! ^__^ and Japanese Pop/Rock...like whoa I can't shut up about it it is one of my passions. :D

Hope to catch ya on the forum!

Welcome to CAA, Sae! I hope you enjoy your stay here!
I like Christian rock too! If you like Switchfoot, you may also like Sanctus Real. Both bands are among my favorites! (Skillet too)

Let me know if you need anything! I can't help you with coloring in Photoshop, but I can help with other things (like Publisher).

Again, welcome!

Back again! Thanks, everyone, for the welcome! ^^

@ Sanji07: Thanks! Actually, I haven't listened to Day of Fire or Skillet. Are they Christian Rock artists?

@ yukoxholic: Thanks! ... *gulp* An antagonist has my name? ^^; Ooops. No, I've never heard of her or Peach Girl.

Prince of Tennis is very good, although the manga just ended. (Say, a few weeks ago?) I really like it. Now, I can't go by a tennis court without thinking of it!

Glad to find another Switchfoot fan. Jon Foreman's solo release? Actually, I haven't heard of that. I got into Switchfoot only recently; there hasn't been much time for checking out that stuff...

Go Japanese Pop/Rock... ^^

@ animewarrior: Victim? ... *sweatdrops* Okaaaay... See ya on the Goof Off thread, too!

@ Slytherin: Thanks!

@ Tsukuyomi: Thanks - I haven't seen or heard of the Peach Girls... meh, the antagonist... *sweatdrop*

@ jon_jinn: Thanks!

@ Popsicle: Yeah, I'll try to upload some of my drawings and color them on Photoshop. (But even if I don't figure out how to color, I'll still post my drawings!)

@ Hana Ryuuzaki: Yep! Homeschoolers unite! ^^ I have actually seen TeniMyu (the PoT musical) and I think it is good, but I haven't seen that much. My friend's really into it, though. (I think she's obsessed with Aiba Hiroki, the person who plays Fuji Syuusuke in the 2nd cast..)

Dir en Gray? Actually, no, I haven't. What type of group is that? Are they a Christian Rock band?

@ Sheenar: Oh! Oh! That's another Christian artist I forgot! I like Sanctus Real, too. Actually, I'm listening to Everything About You [Alternate Version] from their Fight the Tide album right now! It's really good. Thanks for offering to help me! ... Um, if I don't sound stupid - what is Publisher?

Thank you everyone for welcoming me! ^^

Hehe! You don't seem anything like Sae so you're cool! Though I liked Sae from the series she's one of those "misunderstood" kinds of characters! ^__^ I suppose I'll have to check out Prince of Tennis, maybe I'll start with the manga first since you said it just ended.

Yep, Jon Foreman has a solo release. You can check him out here. Also, you should look into some of their older albums (by Switchfoot). New Way To Be Human, Learning To Breathe, Legend of Chin, and their newer stuff: Oh Gravity!, Nothing is Sound. I'm sure you'll like it just as much. If you need any help finding songs just send a PM my way!

And yes, go J-ROCK & POP! :D

Hmm, that's hard to say. I hang out at a lot of different places! ... Yeah, I can't really say one that I hang out in mostly... Where do you hang out at?

Thanks! I'm glad I'm not like the antagonist... though, sometimes antagonists are cool. I mean, there's this guy from Prince of Tennis who isn't really an antagonist, but more like a stuck-up jerk. He's always like, "Ore-sama this, Ore-sama that". (Ore-sama means I with an honorific. Basically, calling yourself with a title. English translation - and this is a very bad one - "Lord Myself.") So yeah, he's really stuck-up. But he has talent to back up his words, sooo...

And if you get into Prince of Tennis, we need to have a serious (or not so serious) Prince of Tennis fan-talk. I'd like to know your favorite characters and why... But I might be a bit too presumptuous... Meh, just check it out. I like it, but it's not very big (they took it off of TV after 10 episodes, I think!). Oh well. ^^

Jon Foreman's CDs look cool. I'll have to check them out sometime! ;)

I have listened to some of Switchfoot's other albums. The Legend of Chin was okay - same way with New Way to be Human. But I think The Beautiful Letdown is the best album, so far of what songs I've heard; the songs Meant to Live, Redemption, and Gone are my favorites, though all of them are great. Anyway, I'll send you a PM if I need some song recommendations. It'll be nice to have an expert on those. ;)

Oh, so that's what the J in J-Pop/Rock stands for... I had thought of that before, but it's been confirmed now. ^^ Oh, do you have song recommendations for J-Pop/Rock? The only songs I have are from my friend. -_-

LOL! Yeah, Sae's talent in Peach Girl is mostly sabotaging anything Momo (The main protagonist) does. It's actually really funny to watch and see how many ways can she can ruin Momo's life.

Yes, the Beautiful Letdown is an awesome album. I can't even pick a favorite off of it! Aww, thanks! Don't know if I'd call myself an expert but I do love the band a whole lot! ^__^

Haha, yeah, the J in "J" - Pop/Rock stands for Japanese, same goes with other foreign music like C-pop/rock (Chinese or Cantonese) and K-Pop/Rock (Korean). I can most certainly help you out on song recommendations. I own too much J-music for my own good >___< I'll send a PM your way with my picks! :)

Microsoft Publisher --it's a part of Microsoft Office. I use it a lot at work to make flyers, but you can also make brochures, business cards, and even websites with it. It's my favorite program to use for those types of things. But I can use the other Office programs too if you need help (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).

Oh, okay. I was just confused. I'll check them out... sometime. ^^;;

BuriMyus? I haven't read/watched Bleach before, so I wouldn't know which is better. Hm, I don't remember Tsuchiya Yuichi... Probably because I haven't really watched that much TeniMyu before.

Don't be fooled. We have some . . .er, interesting individuals running around here.

Yay for homeschoolers! I'm one myself, have been for seven years. :D
