As you can tell, I’m HwaRang777. And if you know your eastern asia studies well (good for you) , The first two syllables is from the korean term Hwarang (a kind of a group of special warriors in the shilla kingdom) Anyway other than my name I'm a non-adoptive male korean (south, i hate it when people ask me that ) that lives in a suburbs of Grand Rapids, Michigan. I could go on about more things but that would be too egotisical and long for me. If you want to find more about me, look up my name in "THE LIST". The reason why I came here is to release myself from the imprisonment of my sins , to make the long story short, I went to a friends house for a sleep over and they showed me a scrambled (blurry) channel that had inappropriate material (you know what I mean). I then started to um. . . you know, what you do as a sperm donor, as my curiosity became my enemy fused with my innocent passion for manga/anime, I looked up on the web for reg. inapp. material including hen- well, you know what I mean, So I decided for a change and commit to a 2nd virginity and a new (hopefully greater) relationship with God. , So I came here as my aid to help guide me to the right path. hey there, finally someone near my area! I'm from Lansing, MI (but I'm not a U.S permanent resident, just an international student with a F1 visa). I will be going down to Grand Rapids for "Fruits and Vegetable Marketing Expo" this Thursday. Also, I did my internship at Alticor/Amway, Ada. [waves] ^^

On a more serious note, I really hope you continue your struggle with 'that' particular sin. I struggle with it, even though I'm female. I hate admitting it but I want to help other girls who also face the same problem but are too ashamed to share about it.

First, remember our God is an Awesome God and nothing is impossible for Him. Amen? I learnt that the more I rely on God to help me with this sin, the easier it is to overcome. Don't try to do it on your own, ain't gonna work. So, yes, I'll be praying for the Holy Spirit to help you. You need God to help you out.

Second, flee from temptation. I used to read ahem....certain manga I strongly believe are catered for encouraging girls to think pervertedly. Not yaoi but the term is described as 'steamy.' Now, I avoid such pages and deleted certain images from my laptop, no matter how pretty they are. it was tough but I don't want to be bound by them.

Third, avoid being alone or any situation that creates the temptation especially when tired, frustrated, stressed. That's why I have a roomate and run off to my friend's place to keep my mind on something else. And mind you, I mean, Christian friends who aren't gonna watch a scrambled channel. If I were you, I'll stay away from such friends...or don't participate at all in such activities. If they were truly your friends, they would respect your decision. Flee.

Fourth, don't be proud, thinking..."ah I can handle this little bit, I can fight it" The Devil wants you to think that way. Lo and behold, before you know it, it's too strong and you lose. RUN RUN RUN. Flee...do you see a pattern by now?

Fifth, in temptation, I always focus on Jesus. "Jesus, you won't want me to do this, right? It hurts your heart. Jesus, be my rock. I don't want you to remember this in my records." I also say verses that strengthens me and gets me back on track.."Grrrr...I will not lose to you, you loser Satan!!" "God has claimed me and I'm no longer yours!" But you still have to RUN/flee, OK?

Eep...sorry for the long post but I truly care for ppl who suffer the same struggle as I do since I know how it feels. Keep up the fight and be victorious! Wouldn't it be great to meet you in Heaven and know that we've fought a good fight? :;):
