Welcome aboard, Shuji. I know how you feel. My university days were tough on me, too. It's hard to be a Christian on a large college campus. Your classes and classmates will challenge everything you ever thought was irrefutable truth. Remember, Christianity is not a cold religion written in unchanging stone. Christianity is very much alive and transforming today. Christ Himself does not change, but your faith – and the faith of every Christian you’ve ever met – is not yet perfect and must continue to change and adapt to meet the needs of the world you live in so that you can be the person God desires you to be.

When we hit our teens, we tend to think we have life figured out. We know all the answers; we just need to put them into practice. Our 20’s teach us, especially at liberal universities, that we don’t know all we thought we did. The answers we figured out in our teens only bring about more questions. This is one reason a lot of Christians, myself included, struggle through our college years (whether we actually go to college or not).

It’s OK to question your faith. It’s OK to wonder about things that you were taught were “absolute.â€

I greatly appreciate your comment. And yes It would be cool to talk to you more. College is a struggle, drinking, and smoking is a major problem, I wish avoiding temptation was easy. Its not, as I often get caught up in these things.
