Wave: This is my fist post

Ok so this is my fist post. I'm a electronics engineering and servicing tech. major at Milford. I have very recently become a fan of anime. This happened one weekend last quarter. I was staying the weekend at the dorms and borrowed some some of my roommates Inu-yasha DVDs. I'm still trying to finger out why I liked them some much. But I did.
Well that's all for now.

PS hope to get a picture soon.

Your a computer geek? Cool! I’m a computer geek of sorts. I think mostly I’m just a geek in general. I’m really into the the hard ware end of things. I enjoy taking apart things and designing simple circuits a lot.
So what kind of computer geek are you. Are you the kind that know 3 or 4 different high level languages or are you the type that know or are you more into the hard ware end of things
I say there are only 10 kinds of people in this word; those that know binary and those that don’t.

Welcome, Wave!
Cool avatar - looks like a very damped square wave and some other periodic wave on an oscilliscope (yes, I'm a Computer Systems Engineer - related to the Elec Eng peoples).
Have fun and hope to see you around more!

I'm kinda into everything. Let's see. How many languages do I know? I stopped counting when I discovered I was pretty proficient in about a dozen. I can go back and compile an exhaustive list if you really want, but I don't think it's statistically usefull data. I'm also into fairly low level hardware (I'd rather program a // port demux + relay circut with a fun C backend to turn on and off lights than try to do the same thing with X10 like
some computer nerds I know.
I'm more into system security these days, though I'm working on an enterprise level CIS masters.
c-ya 'round!

Glad you like my avatar! I though it was kind of weird myself, but it's probably more me then any thing else I have in my photo albume. I REALLY like electronics. The waveforms are actuly off of a switch mold power supply I'm trying to build. I have it working but it's vary inefficent.
If I may ask another question. What are some thing I should know about form edicit? Like when is it ok or not ok to start a new thread?

It's usually good to search first if you suspect there may be an existing thread on a certain topic... but on the other hand, posting on a really old topic (older than, say, 1-2 months) is called gravedigging, and is frowned upon unless you have something worthwhile to say (eg. posting "Yeah, I agree." is not a worthwhile reason to gravedig a thread). See
here.
The 'sticky' posts at the top of each forum section give details of the rules; and also take a look at the 'faq' link at the top of each page.

The list of threads in the sub-forum you are viewing (eg. General, Goof Off, etc...) is ordered by date of last post, with the most recent ones at the very top. The dates are shown on the far right column.

Inuyasha is one of the best animes to watch IMO.If you like it try another of Rumiko Takahashi's series:Ranma 1/2,it's more comedic in nature with some slapstick martial arts.
Also if you like Star Trek and Sci Fi in general try Crest and Banner of the Stars and also Geneshaft, etc.

Greetings and welcome to the CAA. I would be happy to point you in the direction of manga that is good and "clean" enough for beginning readers. If you like Inuyasha, then I strongly suggest picking up another one of Takahashi's works: Maison Ikkoku. God bless.

Thanks! I have a sligh probem though. I don't know exatly where to find more anime or manga. To be onest I'm stumped, I really don't have the money in my budget right now to buy anime or manga and they really don't think they have any at my library. My olny hope is that I can find someone to barow it from or somethink. *ponders*
