Hi! I'm Fionn Fael, and although I not exactly new to CAA, I figured I should make a thread anyway. I was formerly known as haru_bay_nay(as indicated by my sig), but stopped logging on many months ago. I decided to make a fresh start, so here I am! I must say, it's great to be back!
In case you're wondering, Fionn Fael means "White Wolf" in Gaelic. My love for foreign languages met with my adoration for wolves, and
voila!, my username was born.
Real Name: Bailey, or Bay for short.
My Interests: I love God, of course, but among my other interests are writing, basketball, cross-country, track, drama, music(singing, playing, listening), reading, drawing, anime, manga, videogames, animals, foreign languages and cultures, genealogy, history, and science.
Personal Info: I'm a 15-year-old freshman in a small Oklahoma high school. I'm 5'9", with brown hair and green eyes. I play school sports and participate in Competition Speech, Play Production, Choir, Stuco, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Here's a picture of me from Halloween of '05. Please, don't ask what I'm supposed to be...

Haru_bay_nay...you sound familiar...I probably saw you around the boards once or twice, but I don't think I really knew you on a personal level. At any rate, here's hoping your stay this time is a bit more permanent.
By the way, you're very cute. ^^

Thanks for the warm welcome, everybody!
Yeah, I'm pretty busy, so I'll just post whenever I have free time. Hopefully, that'll be often.
I'm so glad to be back, and it's great that the stuff I loved is still here, but there are new things to do and new members to meet! I hope to stick around for a long time.

Foreign language, huh? Are you interested in sign language? Some questions for you.
Who would you say has been a shepherd to you and how? That is, who is a more mature Christian that you have learned from and been guided by?
Are there any passages of Scripture that you particularly like or have meaning for you?
Do you know what your gift is in the body the Christ?
What are you thinking by way of a college major and possible career?

I know a little sign language... It's hard for me, though.
Hm... The people I'd consider shepherds for me would probably be my mom(for leading me to Christ and bringing me up in a Christian home), my youth pastor(for guiding and teaching me), and my college friend, Anna(for providing great advice and being an encouragement). They've made a huge influence in my spiritual life.
Some of my favorite Scriptures are: Luke 12:34, Philippians 4:19, Matthew 28:19, Romans 12:1, Luke 6:37, Proverbs 20:1, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Proverbs 4:23, and Luke 22:42. (I would write the actual verses, but it would take too much space!)
Do you mean my Spiritual Gift? Well, I've read about them, and the quizzes I take usually say that my top 4 are Missionary, Faith, Knowledge, and Evangelism. I suppose that I agree.
I have a couple years left before college, but I'm thinking of majoring in English(I'd love to be a writer) or Zoology with a possible minor in Theatre. I'm not sure, though, because I'm also thinking about becoming a missionary. I know, my prospects are a bit varied.

Ooh, Rom. 12:1, my old youth groups motto. Yeah, I was refering to spiritual gifts. If you want to be a missionary, you'll almost certainly need a well paying vocation. Most of the missionaries in the demoniation I'm in are doctors. The group I'm helping to supporting in Uganda needed $60,000 just to go plus another $500 in additional monthly support. Pricey. Other denominations pay for their missionaries to go. My closest friend has an associate degree in missionary studies and is kind of in limbo as a consequence becasue she has no actual skills. Missionaries can have a large variety of backgrounds though. One missionary recruiter from the denomination of my Wed. night group was looking for someone to fill a job opening for a skateboard instructor.

Yes, money is one of my biggest obstacles when it comes to becoming a missionary. I have no idea what I would do to support myself should I actually go somewhere. Fortunately, I feel most drawn to more developed countries. In fact, I think it's possible that God gave me an interest in the Japanese culture and language because he wants me to go there.
That's just a theory, though.
That's so cool that you mentioned Uganda! One of my best friends wants to be a missionary there!
And now, a random childhood picture. This is me in the first grade, at age 7:
