I've been a Christian anime fan since 2002, when I first watched Cowboy Bebop (that's how it always starts, eh?).

I found this place by mistake on Google, but was pleasantly surprised there were more people like myself out there. Actually, I guess I tend to have secular interests, you guys make me look like Al Franken. ;)

Actually it's probably insulting to call myself a Christian these days; I kind of realized a few weeks ago that I truly could not relate to common Christians, and really do not find myself awed with God as the Christian rock tunes on the radio have me believe I should be. So, I'm glad I found a place like this, because I think it will help me get to wherever I need to be.

Here's a little bit about me: my favorite anime, by far, is Evangelion. In fact, one of the walls in my room is dedicated to it. I am quite aware of its ban on these boards (that's part of what draws me to CAA; between you guys and the usual anime fans, I will probably be able to find a good balance). My top two favorite bands are Fear Factory and Type O Negative, who are "metal"-- but in reality, I tend to listen to a lot of "indie." I'm also a big wrestling fan; I watch WWE RAW regularly, watch TNA occasionally, and have recently found myself good entertainment with Japanese DragonGate wrestling. ALSO, I'm a big Glenn Beck fan, for those of you who listen to talk radio at all.

Oh yeah, I am also 20 and go to college, though math has forced me to dread even the thought of campus.

Nice to meetcha. :thumb:

Old school thing ^^; It inspires too many religious debates, which again is a no-no here.

But um, yeah... welcome!

*thinks*

Oh my gosh! Math has done the same to me. I may be an honors student, but math is my weakest subject by far. I used to dread getting up to go to school because of it.

I tend to drift in my 'Christian Walk' every now and then, but i am always awakend and brought out of my childish nature. It's then that i realize imy purpose if for God, not my own.

It was nice to meet you.

Welcome, Milk-san! I used to listen to Type O Negative back when I was in high school. Those days seem like so long ago. Anyway, hope you enjoy it here! :)

Ah, as funny as this may sound, that's kind of good to hear. Maybe I'm not as far out as I thought I was.

Thanks for the welcome, guys. And gals.
