Welcome!
Hah! Cool! I love oro!, too. You can see so by my screename. HOw much of the manga have you read? I have up to nine, which is all they have in English now. We have a section in the manga section if you want to talk with a whole lot of us kenshin-fans.
Do you like video games? What bands do you listen to? What are your interests?

Wait... doesn't "oro" mean "what"?

Oro is a form of the word "ara". Nobihiru Watsuki changed it to oro because a lot of the manga artists were using ara. He wanted Rurouni Kenshin to be unique, that he did. Mostly, oro is a form of saying "huh?". ^^

It can also mean ow, too. I think it can mean just about anything

Tee Hee! Hmmm ... cute anime/manga boys ... dreamy ... *quickly searches for more cuties* ... Oh! Hi! Thanks for the replies! Yup, I love Kenshin's anime, but I have only actually glimpsed at animes. The only one that I read consitantly is Steelblood. That manga is awsome and I hope that it goes into movie format or at least an anime series.
I am still working on my own stuff, but whether I stick to a novel with pictures or switch it to a manga format remains to be seen.

I am an artist/cartoonist, but my influences are mixed. My website greyhawkthegreat.iwarp.com has part of my works ... erm, how to explain it?
The majority royal family is slain. A power hungary councilor has seized control of the kingdom and to assure her power she has done the unthinkable ...
Stolen from his family, and manipulated by degrees, displaced young king must learn who to trust and who is untrustworthy. He must choose between his personal desires and his newly found sense of duty. Will the pressure to blow the lid off of his deepest secret send the Grec into ruin? Or, will he sacrifice his will so that he can protect the people he has come to love?
This is a tale of self sacrifice, the quest for meaning, and the glimmering rays of hope in a stromy world.

You sure know how to pull a person in, Kokoro-san! I will be checking your site later. Oh, also I think you might like the RPG section on here. It has a whole lot of cool ones going on now, like this wolf one. You just have to be online a lot.

She's a little acolite girl from my story, no name given, I just love to draw shrine keepers and acolites. I like to think of her as a chibi version of a character named Kokoro Mumei - Kokoro for "spirit" and Mumei for "Nameless" as she has uncertain origins when she is rescued by the adolecent King Grey Hawk and his trusted advisor/friend Sharp Sword. She is not yet in the story I have online.

Ah...Kokoro-san, so you created your own world? That's cool!!! I would write like you do, but i have no patience. I just need to get that fruit of the spirit down pat.
I just checked out your site...nice.
So, how did you become a Christian?

I was raised in a "Christian" family (Assembly of God) and my babysitter was a Christian (Baptist to be specific) and she was very open about her faith. I went to a weekend for kids at Camp High Point in PA where a children's minister/illusionist made me aware that I would need to make my relationship be personal with God and not try to ride on my parent's faith. Ok, so I said the sinner's prayer, read the verse about Niccodemus, and there was a vague comment said to me about baptism. I was thrown to the wind, as it were, until I was 15 years old. Up until that point church attendance had been sporadic - save for one year at a Lutheren Church. At 14 I began attending a small church called Ocean Veiw Church of Christ (Church of Christ - independant). At 15 I fully commited my life to Jesus and got baptised (full immersion). At 16 I started to teach Children's Church and I have been doing that ever since. About four years ago I began to teach at East Side Church of Christ as the city had forced us to sell the building and land of OVCC (they quickly tore it down and built a stupid million dollar home along with other exclusive homes). Well, that is my story in a half shell.
Thanks! I am glad you like my site.
I actually don't have much patience, but after teaching kids for so long, I have gained a great deal more than I used to. Patience takes time to gain. The writing thing takes more of an inspiration/will to do it. I don't write every day unless I have an idea, otherwise I will spend hours in front of the screen trying to write and I end up playing on the internet (Neopets/Webpage Design/Random research).

That happens to me a whole lot. I will come on the internet for a project or to find something for my parents and I end up searching for fangirl stuff and pretty pictures.
I'm really simple. Or, I will come for e-mail and end up here for two hours.
Sorry about the church. It is horrible when something like that happens. And eventually for homes! I don't know why but I have heard many stories like yours. I guess people really need to not force you and ask. I dunno. But I am glad that you have committed your life to the lord now, that's all that counts.

Me too. I don't know what it is about me.
: Lack of focus? Short attention span? Yes to both for me.
There are days where I want to write, and not play, but the inspiration doesn't come.
There are days when I can't get to my computer or writing tablet and I am inspired.
Then there are those wonderful times when the inspiration hits me in the head and will not leave me alone until I write my story(ies), even if I don't write what popped into my head.
Sometimes, due to modern media influences I start to write something and then I have to kill it or edit it.
The worst thing to happen to me is a migrain.
It is during those times I don't want to do anything.

How about this: sew your(replacable) wordpad into your jacket or something so you can't ever leave it behind!
The washing might be a problem, but you'd always have paper with you.JK
Sometimes a friend of mine gets big ideas, mostly around food(?). He writes it down on a napkin with a borrowed pen or maybe crayons, right there at the table. IT makes me laugh! I say, your friends are your best entertainment, though it may be that i'm very easy to entertain.

I keep a notebook in my purse, but sometimes when I am at work an idea - a wonderful wiley coyote super genius idea - just hits me with a big ol' staff and sits in my brain all day long; that is until I finally sit down to write it and then I forget. -_-;
What's with these two smilies?
