Hello!

As you can obviously tell, I'm new here. I found this place after typing in "christian anime" on google and saw this was the first link. I'm actually pretty ecstatic to find a place devoted to both anime and christianity. I'm 22 years old and hail from deep south Texas. I think it's pretty obvious that I love anime/manga and am christian (catholic, to be exact). I'm currently attending college so I can get my associates degree in history. Hopefully, I'll be able to teach at the collegiate level. I'm chicana (Mexican-American female) and can speak two languages. I don't really know what else to say now, except "yo".

Ah, another newbie! Welcome, Ereyes!!

Still working on building up my creativity...so all I can offer you now is...

*KojiroMusashi hands Ereyes a chibi Cheech Marin doll wearing a Stetson (It sings the "Mexican-American" song when you pull the string) and a gift bag full of pocky.*

Yeah, what anime/manga are you currently enjoying? You get the Cheech doll cause I can't give you a really great anime gift until I know what anime you like!

Enjoy your stay with the CAA and pop in whenever you can!

Well, I like most series, but nothing overly romantic. If I find the plot/characters good or interesting, then it's all good with me.

I'm currently enjoying two animes: SCRYed and Samurai Champloo. Would American Japanese-animation style cartoons count? I'm asking because I also enjoy watching The Boondocks. From the looks of it, it's anime-oriented.

Current manga: Hellsing. As far as I know, it's better than the series. I can stand the sacrilege/blasphemy (and blood). I mean, hey, I like Anderson (and Alucard). I mostly read it because it's got quite a bit of history involving Vlad Tepes and the Roman Catholic church.

I'm Kali G, the coolest member of this forum who's named Kaligraphic. You just became a lot cooler because I posted in this thread. So, hi.
