Um...Hi.

If you're new to CAA, we invite you to tell us about yourself here. This is the place to post your own bio or read up on other members. Be as in depth as you like!

Um...Hi.

Postby Vii » Thu Jun 30, 2011 1:20 pm

I've been reading reviews on CAA for a while and I finally decided to make an account. ^_^ Woohoo!

I don't really know what to put here, so...I guess I'll list my favorite anime so far (I only got into anime a couple months ago so I don't have a huge list yet)

1. Fullmetal Alchemist/Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
2. Ouran High School Host Club
3. Fruits Basket
4. Naruto/Naruto Shippuden (It was the first real anime I ever watched. Otherwise it might not have made it on this list)

Oh, and for all the shows on that list, excluding Naruto, I prefer the dub. (Ok, that was kind of random.)

I guess I should mention the show that got me into anime, despite not technically being an anime itself: Avatar: The Last Airbender. I absolutely adored this show (I still do, just not so avidly) and I've probably watched each episode six times over, enough to memorize almost every aspect of it (Maybe I'll start a thread on this...)

Anywho, I guess that's it for now. ^_^ (<-- I have the tendency to use this smiley a lot)

Ciao!

All I can think of when I see your username is that episode of Seinfeld where George wanted to name his kid "Seven."

Hi-ya and thanks!

I prefer FMA dubbed because, well, it's good, and because Ed just doesn't sound right being voiced by a girl.
As for Ouran, I watched the first few episodes subbed and laughed maybe a couple times, but then watched the dub and found it hilarious. Ouran being a comedy anime, that might be considered important (^_^). I'm also a fan of Vic Mignogna's voice acting.
For Fruits Basket, well, again, Yuki is 16 but sounds like a 12 year old in the sub.

Don't worry, there ARE anime I watch subbed, either because the dub isn't very good (*cough* NARUTO *cough*), or there isn't one available (Full Moon wo Sagashite [Actually, they just started making a dub, but it's awful])

Hope that answers your question!

Welcome aboard Miss Vii! It's a pleasure to have you. I recently finished Ouran, and I must agree that it's a great little series. Look forward to seeing you around.
