My name is Prince Asbel. I joined about five months ago, but I never posted an intro here. I can't be here near as often as I used to be, but I can come here every now and then. ;) I am a big fan of anime and manga, and carry around a database of anime and manga titles on my sony walkman in picture format. I have seen these anime:

Castle in the Sky,
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind,
Great Conquest: Romance of the Three Kingdoms,
Steamboy,
Howl's Moving Castle (My current favorite. ;)),
Kiki's Delivery Service,
Steamboy,
Grave of the Fireflies,
Porco Rosso (I didn't like it. :shady:),
Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics: Episode with the Golden Ball (Something like that, I can't remember.),
All sorts of Rockman.exe,
A couple of episodes of Sherlock Hound (When I'm in a good mood.)

The manga I've read are:

Cardcaptor Sakura,
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Which I actually dislike, believe it or not. Hayao Miyazaki butchered it over time.),
Aqua (I wrote a review of this for CAA! :thumb:),
Aria volume 1,
Laika volume 1

As far as my spiritual life goes, I'm a very serious Christian. I study theology, apologetics, and I plan to study church history in the future. I've been raised in a Christian home with Christian parents and have always had at least eight other siblings in the home besides myself. I am currently studying for my GED next year, taking the classes at our church, and hoping against hope that I will find a nice girl who thinks like I do about Christianity who'd be willing to be my girlfriend. I might need to use e-harmony. ;)

Anyways, that's me. If you're a girl and you're interested, let me know.:eyeroll:

Welcome + 5 months Prince Asbel.

Also; Howl's Moving Castle is awesome.
I don't know what broke to make you like this, but I must be broken too if I'm standing here praising your destructiveness. -Rock (Black Lagoon)

Heyya Prince Asbel and welcome to the CAA where liking Studio Ghibli films seems to be a requirement. ^__^ I loved all those series of mangas you've listed aside from Laika. What is that one about? I've never heard of it.

Anyway, hope to catch ya on the forum!

Laika is a manga about the dog they sent to the space. I thought it was something else, because I didn't think anyone would write a MANGA about THAT. But my sis read off the title to me when she went to a booksale, and I told her to get it. It's not half bad, but the manga style isn't anything like Aqua, Aria, or Cardcaptor Sakura. No big giant glassy eyes or pictures with the characters in various poses thinking serious thoughts or making profound statements. All of which I like. Still, the story is strong so far, and only volume 1 is in the U.S. It was released last year, so it's still pretty new.

Thanks for the welcomes, everybodys! ;)

Official-Welcome to CAA, Prince Asbel! Steamboy was a good movie. Strange, but good. Howl's Moving Castle is on my list of anime to see one day :)
