Riverdance!!!!!!

Postby Kenshin17 » Mon Feb 01, 2010 5:42 pm

I saw Riverdance live last Friday. Words simply cannot describe the level of awesome that was, seeing it on stage happening before my eyes.

And it wasn't a "second string" performance. It was the same caliber of talent and quality as the DVDs. The male lead was without a doubt the best lead I have seen in that show and he owned his part. Simply amazing.

This event goes down in my book as one of the most amazing things I have ever done/seen.

Epic, though overused, fits here. That show was epic.
A nightingale in a golden cage
That's me locked inside reality's maze
Come someone make my heavy heart light
Come undone, bring me back to life
It all starts with a lullaby

I remember seeing it (on videio) back in middle school ^__^ You would think middle schoolers wouldn't appreciate it, but everyone was pretty much in awe ^__^

Oh! I saw the riverdance ("the Lord of The Dance") when they came through a town near mine when I was 11!
It was so spectacular! It really made me want to learn to dance even more!(Alas, no one teaches it in my town) And then my mom got me a Michel Flatley (famous riverdancer) DVD !!! I love riverdance <3<3<3
I am on total agreement with how amazing riverdance is. Glad you enjoyed it!

Ah, that would be so cool to see Riverdance for real. I've been a huge fan of Lord of the Dance, in particular, since the age of eight or so. There was one time when a dance troupe came through, claiming to be like Michael Flatley, but it was rather disappointing and not much like the real thing.
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.
