The original stories that inspired the Haruhi Suzumiya franchise are coming to America. Now you get to see the rest of the story behind the movie in 'Episode 0', amongst other adventures that didn't make it into the anime. They've licensed the entire series, with the first one (the story actually named 'The Melancholy of..' ) coming out in 2009.

ahha! sweet! these novels should be an interesting read. i'm particularly interested in how the characters' personalities are to be conveyed in the story...
