CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Anyone else psyched for this movie (based on a true story)? =D I love wildly unrealistic Ocean's Eleven-ish stories about casinos and heists (though this isn't really a heist movie) and cat-and-mouse games, so I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint. That, and, well, school pride~ (^_^)v

I saw this trailer in a movie screening at school, and on the lines "Ben Campbell was the most gifted student at MIT," the whole room was laughing. Yeah, MIT's smartest as a good looking social guy who gets the girl and some action? I think not. I've also heard that the original Blackjack Club was mostly Asians, but they cast a lot of white people instead to be more appealing =_=; which is a little sad, but I'll live, considering that the Asian guy in the trailer seems like fun.

Cast is interesting. Not sure I'll see it in theaters. Maybe rent.

All I know is that there are random Asian people in the cast =P

There was only six people (not counting the teacher, I believe) in the original Blackjack Club and I think only two of them were Asians.

But I seen the true story on the History Channel and not sure how true the movie will be, but it is base off the book that was written about the whole thing.

Just not sure how much of it the movie is base off the book is another story.

There were two blackjack clubs, and supposed the one the book that the movie is based on is based on (lol) was "mostly Asian." I guess I haven't heard the confirmation, so I could be wrong. I hear the movie is supposed to be completely different from the book (and the book is different from reality, too; it made the Asian leader into a white guy as well).

Whatever XD. Two of the original members are going to speak here about their experiences on Tuesday, I'm going to skip lab to hear them mwahahahaaa~

Well the one that the history channel talk about was the six member one, which only had two asian and it never said anything about another group.

But who cares really, I don't think I will go see the movie, since I seen the the story on the history channel.
