Wow, what a hard question. Well, one of the most dramatic, and therefore one of my favorite, scenes is the Duel of the Fates battle in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It's the scene where Qui-Gon and Obi-Won fight Darth Maul: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Lt5Z54L6efo

Too many to mention, but two from utube that always get me.....both have *MAJOR SPOILERS*

The Healing Scene from Lady in the Water (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EP6O8ypB6v4). This scene truly sums up the real message of this movie.....I really don't know why, but I always start crying watching this....

Theres a great scene in 28 days later when Jim (the main character) and the rest of the cast looking into the feild watching horses run across a field and Jim says "think they are infected?" then it cuts to the horses running across the field and then the father figure says " No not them, they made it through" Its just a very well shot scene and it was beautiful IMO.

Wow. I don't even know the first thing about Ordinary People, but when I saw this clip, I could feel the emotion. It didn't really matter that I didn't know the characters or what they were talking about; I could understand the emotion of the scene. And wow, that was extremely good acting on the younger man's part

Yeah. He won the Best Supporting Actor award for that role. And he was only 20!

I just remembered my favorite scene in The Chronicles of Riddick, which also contains perhaps my favorite movie quote ever: "I'll kill you with my teacup."

*The "Zip-A-Dee-Doo Dah" number in Song Of The South

Live-Action:
*The "I Enjoy Being A Girl" number in Flower Drum Song(a semi-obscure 1961 Rogers And Hammerstein musical with an all-Asian cast)
*The "Sunshine Day" sequence in The Brady Bunch Movie
*The "Stick To The Status Quo" number in High School Musical(yes, I'm a HSM fan, so sue me! )
*The Land Of The Unborn Children sequence in The Blue Bird(a 1940 fantasy starring Shirley Temple)
*Any scene in Grand Hotel(the 1932 Oscar winner for Best Picture) with Joan Crawford...how beautiful she was when she was young!
*Any Shirley Temple/Bojangles tap dance duet in any of their films

XD good scene. Made that movie watchible. Pitch Black was so much better IMO. Also the ending few scenes in saving private Ryan where amazing, so good and powerful. Also the wedding scene in Princess Bride so funny. The end of Saw greatest twist ever, and the climax of Die hard. Oh and 12 monkeys so many great scenes they all were awesome specially once you find out whats going on.

I just saw Last of the Mohicans last night... the ending would easily have to go down as one of my all time favorite movie scenes. I thought it was a fantastic scene. No dialog, beautiful scenery shot along some cliffs, and epic music.

You've opened Pandora's Box. Each of these scenes listed below is cinematic perfection. Meet these scenes and you'll see the best of cinema. Not that all of these movies are everyone's cup of tea. But these scenes are best seen in their place in the movies and links would only spoil them, so get thee to a renterry!

• Alfred Hitchock's Vertigo: The Dream Sequence

• Ikiru: The scene on the swing at the end.

• Amadeus: The scene where Salieri, while watching Don Giovanni, not only concocts a plan to kill Mozart, but also realises he's losing his mind, but continues on his route anyway. One of the greatest performances in the English Language, right there!

• There Will be Blood: The Milkshake Speech

• The Good the Bad and the Ugly: In a movie made of great scenes, the Showdown at the end is the best.

• Fargo: "And here ya are, and its a beautiful day. I just don't understand it."

• Dumbo: Pink Elephants on Parade

• Seven Samurai (the B&W original): Almost half-way into the movie the Toshiro Mifune character, Kikuchiyo addresses the other samurai and reveals to them why the peasants they protect are such pathetic, untrustworthy figures. Arguably one of the best scenes ever filmed.

• Aguirre: The wrath of God: Not everyone's cup of tea. Scratch that, this movie is difficult for even art-house movie buffs. But the ending with the monkeys is incredible to watch and, for no particular reason, deeply disturbing.

• Fitzcarraldo: The scene where the smoking ship slowly creeps up the mountain. Incredible!

• The Godfather: The last scene where Pacino and Marlon Brando share the screen.

• Atonement (2007): The final interview at the end. It just breaks your heart.

• Steamboat Bill Jr: The scene where the hurricane tears the city apart with poor Buster Keaton caught in the middle.

• The Passion of Joan of Arc: The scene where Joan of Arc gets burned on the steak is one of the most heart-wrenching things I've seen.

• Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro: The chase scene on the mountain road.
