Uwe Boll's latest video game based epic opens in a few weeks.
Who else with me is up for some epic fantasy cinematic massacre?

You know, when I saw the preview for this movie, I said, "Wow, this looks like a really terrible and boring LotR ripoff." I had no idea it was by Uwe Boll. This explains a lot.
Knowing that, now I might go see this movie. It should be...yes...epic.

The lines they used in the preview made it sound like he'd chopped all the big hero lines out of other movies and changed one word.

WHYYYYYYYY? Why do studios/publishers keep selling him their rights? WHY? They know his movies suck. Dungeon Siege was a good game. Heck, he's making a Far Cry movie and that was a big hit. These aren't broke third-rate publishers selling him their licenses, so what's the excuse? Geez. And why do these actors sign up? Jason Stratham has some good movies; he's doing well; he's amassing a following. Why go for this?

*sigh* Uwe needs to go away now. Good games turned into awful movies -_-
