CAA Football Pick'em - Come play with us!

Well, it goes together with fantasy football like rama lama lama ka dinga da dinga dong. That's right, we got us a pick'em league.

"What's a pick'em league?" you ask? Well, I'll tell you. In a pick'em league, you simply select which team you think will win each game of each week of the pro football season.

You say you have no idea who will win a game? Don't worry, considering last year's results, you will be in good company. Just join the league and use some bizarre method of picking games and tell us how your system works. That will be way more entertaining then having a bunch of "experts" anyways.

Some examples of methods to use:
Which team's QB has the best hair?
Which team has the most/least politically correct mascot?
West Coast vs East Coast

You do NOT need to play fantasy football to join the pick’em league.

So, you say I've convinced you?
Great!
Here's how to join (you need a free yahoo id to play):
Go to http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/pickem
If you don't have a Yahoo id, choose "Sign Up"
Otherwise, choose "Create or Join Group"
Choose the “Selectâ€

The games start Thursday with Pittsburgh and Miami. I see everyone who's registered has picked, but there's still time to get in if you haven't registered yet.

Wow! There were some great games this week! Jacksonville vs. Dallas was especially good. Someone please tell me why I chose Green Bay over Chicago! Please! That was just dumb. >.> I thought Lefwitch played great against Dallas, especially after the first quarter. That should silence his critics for a while. Should be another good one in Jax with the Steelers coming to town.

Well, Buffalo beat Miami earlier. That's one of my upseat picks come true. Lemmings looked very good in this game. As did Willis Mcgahee, which should help me with my Fantasy Football.

Right now I'm watching the Patriots play the Jets. Whoever said that Brady was going to miss Deion Branch needs to watch this game. Brady is looking very good, as are most of his recievers.

The patriots have lost a lot over the past few seasons and that appears to be wearing on a team previously heralded for their unselfish team spirit. To have Branch leave the team is OK, but to have him leave in that manner is bad news for Patriots fans.

But great news for Seahawks fans! Hopefully he'll give their offense the jolt in the arm that they need...

As long as he doesn't turn into another TO. Like poison for the team, but hey, we'll hear all about it every single day. I'm beginning to wish ESPN would just create a show to talk about Owens. That way I could tune out for it and enjoy the rest of the day Owens free.
