I am so excited about the new episodes! My dad and I have taped practically all the old episodes on tape. The new ones had better come to the US soon. I saw a clip from the first new episode and it looked as good as the old ones. This is the second best thing that ever happened to BBC. The best was starting Doctor Who is the first place. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got several of the novels and a couple of the videos and some of the comics
to help with my DW addiction. Also some of the issues of DWM(Doctor Who Magazine).Read Lalla Ward's interview in the 35th anniversary issue.
Worse tv series, movie or play she was in:The Jeweller's Shop by the late Pope.
Says she did it because she wanted to work with the director and thought the
entire play was the worse 12 weeks of her life.
Must Have Books for all DW fans:
*The Companions
*The Discontinuity Guide
*The Early Years

Is the Brig in any of the new eps.?It can't be really Dr.Who if it doesn't have the
Brig in it!HAHAHA!
Ok,just joking but he seems to have been in every decade of DW since it began in the 1960s.I can't think of DW without either the Brig or UNIT.It would be just as hard to think of it without at least one good looking female companion and
the TARDIS breaking down.

William Hartnel's Doctor did not meet the Brig

Well that's true but he was still in just about every decade except the '90s.
Since he wasn't in the television movie.

When It comes to companions I think Ian was the best.

Favortie male companion has to be the Brig.Who can forget:
"Creature with wings five rounds rapid!"
Favorite all time companions would be:
1.Ace
2.Sarah Jane Smith
3.Tegan
4.Romana #1 and #2
5.Jo
least favorite:Mike Yates.

Well, I do have to say that this new first season has been amazing. Can't wait for the next!
Ecclestone did a great job. Some of the episodes were amazingly creative, and Miss Piper does a great job as a companion.
Not sure what you Americans will think of Capt. Jack when you see him.

Miss Piper?
Captain Jack?
But the most important part is WHO PLAYS THE DOCTOR?
PostPosted: Tue Sep 27, 2005 2:38 pm

The Doctor has been played by Christopher Ecclestone - you may have seen him as the bad guy in 'Gone In 60 Seconds'.
Billie Piper plays the Doctor's companion and assitant - Rose.
Capt. Jack enters the series about 3/4 through. I'll say no more on him.
