K, this was in my sports page in my local newspaper bout Indianapolis Colts coach, Tony Dungy. It's very awesome article about a kid diagnosed with cancer however...he still holds on to God and the coach pays a visit. I found i ttouching and almost cried. i was also very surprised since my local paper is veeeerrryyyy far-left liberal and usually isnt kind to Christianity.

Without further ado,
Dungy impresses, and is impressed Colts coach visits cancer victim

I have always thought Dungy has a lot of class. It shows in his coaching, and it shows in his team. Awesome stuff. I was watching the film Any Given Sunday the other night...and this reminds me of a quote. "As hard as it is to belive...there is more to football then winning"

Wow, impressive article. I've always knew Dungy was a good man. He's always has such a positive outlook on life. Also, he chooses his words wisely. Dungy has always held a high place in my respects. That guy has a big heart. Though, I've always knew that :P

Well put, couldn't have said it better myself.

Also, whether people want to admit it or not , Dungy formed and builted the superbowl winning Buccaneers (personal opinion). When he left Tamp Bay, he handed down the perfect team to Jon Gruden. Perhaps this year will be the year for his long waited ring. Odds look good in my opinion.

Thanks for the article Hitokiri, very touching. :thumb:

Holy crap!! i was just looking at the article when it hit me...I heard of this kid and I've seen him before!!

My friend was friends with him and about two years ago, we had a guys night (all guys spend the night at a guys house) and he was invited.

When I heard this kid died, I didn't make a connection whatsoever to the kid who was at our guys night. He died in March I think. Wow...I kind afeel bad that I knew him yet I didn't realize he died.
