That came out in Theatres or dvd?
DVD release wise:
Garden State is very good! Though let me advice there is one scene where these guys are watching a porno film (quite graphic but very brief) and there is the use drugs and cursing. Though, being R rated that didn't surprise me. But the movie overall had a good story and message. The main character's mother dies and he comes back home to visit the people he grew up knowing-- catch up on the old days. In the begining he is kind of numb to the whole notion of life and existence. It leaves him in a position to question the things in his life. He's trying to find himself because he tired of wondering about what if's. I'm not going to give away much but I will say it's worth the watch if you can get past the two points i've mentioned earlier. Although the story may seem simple, it really isn't, it goes into great depth. Overall, it's a really inspirational movie... the kind that makes you analyze your life and where you stand. Kind of like, is this where you really want to be in life? Kind of like someones life journey. It just came out on dvd this past tuesday, I may need to pick it up.
Napoleon dynamite is quite good too. The story, although it seems not to have much substance really delievers I thought. A funny clean comedy.
Anchorman was just released on dvd too. I'll be blunt here... It was horrible. I'll admit there were a few funny moments that made me snicker, like the street/gang fight between the different news networks. But that aside, the movie really didn't have much substance and got fairly annoying quick.
I-Robot:
My friends didn't care much for it but I really enjoyed. Although, it's not one I would watch everytime I saw it on TV, it's worth a looking into. The story seemed to stack up quite well until the very end. The action is good and overall, not a bad movie. It's about average.

Garden State is a very good movie, I was suprised how well it was capable of mending comedy with romance and even a little art. It was this years' version of Lost in Translation.
I suggest checking out Napolean Dynamite, I caught that this past weekend and it's so funny. I'm serious, I've known someone just like Napolean it's scary.

Recently I saw Blade 3, the langauge was rough..but other then that it was not too bad. I really enjoyed it. I caught Dodgeball on dvd the other day...that was really funny. I am looking forward to that new Lawrence Fishburn movie..the cop one. That looks good...and Constentine looks good too.

Both times I went and saw The Phantom of the Opera I closed my eyes for the whole Constentine preview....I think it looks scary. I don't know, call my ninny-baby...but I think it looks-err...sounds strange. I don't like those kind of movies. They're unsettling for me. Being a Christian, I won't be going to see that.

The Incredibles.
No. 1 film of the year for me. It's clean, funny, and it's not just some kiddie film. Lots of store, charicter, and peril.
Go see it in theatres, and buy it the day it comes out on DVD. (WS version only!)
