CAA: Christian Anime Alliance

Well, I recently started watching his early morning Sunday show, and I have to say it's great. It's funny and sends a good message. I also recently saw his DVD, "Close Enounters of the God Kind" where he gives his testimony of visting Heaven. Has anyone else heard of him/seen the DVD? If you have, what did you think?

This dude is hilarious! I love watching Jesse Duplantis!!!! I saw a few of his videos including Close Encounters. I can't remember the other ones' names though. We watch him while waiting for our parents to get ready for church.

I can't say much about Jesse Duplantis, expect to say that he isn't received well among some Christians, even to the point of being denounced as a false teacher. Judging him by some of the quotes from him here, as well as the company he keeps, I wouldn't watch him. By the way, I wouldn't watch most of the programs on TBN to begin with, as most of the people on TBN are false teachers.

eep. I don't think I'm going to say much about that. I don't watch TBN per-say.
I know Jesse Duplantis is bold when he preaches and obviously that would offend some people.
I will let God be his judge.

I never seen him as offending. Who said you can't be humorous when speaking of God? No one I know thinks he's false at all. But, as ssjjvash said, God will be his judge. And I don't know what TBN is, but he appears here on the Super Channel.

EDIT: I just read those quotes, and I saw the problem immeadietly. I'm gonna get to work on showing people this.

I think you should really pray about sending that site out to other people. I also think you should look into what these teachers actually have taught instead of just letting this site spoon-feed you. I don't agree with everything they say, but your reference there absolutely demonizes them. Isn't attacking other Christians counter-productive?

Yeah... Not cool... There are rumors about everyone... Gossip is wrong, as is slander... Of course, I personally don't like Jesse or anyone on TBN, but I won't accuse them of things, especially based on people who have some serious hate in their actions... Even quotes can be taken out of context... I didn't read it because I dont' need to read gossip or slander against someone... I've seen too much of it, including against people I know personally...

And then there's the fact I don't watch TBN anyhow (except for "Travel the road" which I haven't seen in a long time...)
