Loved both the first and second film, enjoyed some of the games. So I am looking forward to AL. Then again, I am a horror freak so what do you expect?

Suprisingly enough, I did enjoy the resident evil movies (both of them). I preferred the first to Apocalypse, though; something about the creepy lab environment really "did" it for me as opposed to the city. But, I loved the movies so I'll be watching for AL. It picks up right after Apocalypse, correct?

Edit: sry. double post

The only real mistake I found with the first one was that most of the characters died in the beginning as apposed to spreading them out. Other than that I rate Resident Evil as one of the better zombie movies to come out. The second movie, although it focused more on action as opposed to horror, was still a great movie. The only real complaint I had with it was it was a bit predictable. :) great movies especially since you really cant beat zombies.

Dang it... I need to see these.....

I wanted to rent the first one today, but the rental store had them all checked out... I want to see the first before the second.

If they don't have a copy tommorow, I'll probably rent Shaun of the Dead, I'm in the mood for a zombie flick.....

Shaun of the dead is better than the first RE... The others, I can't comment on. I never watched the second movie... I was excited to see Nemesis on the big screen, but... I just lost interest.

Saw RE2.....

Thought it was a bit over the top, but I still enjoyed it. I may watch it again...

I still need to see the first though.

I finally rented and saw RE2 and I LOVED IT! I want to buy the DVD. I watched most of the extras and was impressed at how atheletic all the actors were. I hated the first movie, but that's because the second one was mostly action, rather than horror (sorry Shatterheart and other horror fans). I think that's why I enjoyed it more - the action scenes.

Nemesis looked just like Nemesis in the game - great make-up job. And, I loved how it ended. Now, I can hardly wait to see the third one. XD

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Heh, too each there own. No problem there....I do think however that they did push RE2 a bit far from its roots in RE1. A friend of mine hated the weird camera effects they did for the zombies....I did not mind those...but I did notice a lack of zombies...Anyone who has played the games knows there should be a metric buttload of zombies everywhere...But, still a solid movie. Anyone have any news about AL though? Last I heard on Bloodydisgusting they were not 100% sure it was going to be made.
