Has anyone seen the movie Joshua??
It's a wonderful Christian Movie, with great themes that will please ALL Christian denominations. It shows we're all united through Christ.
It's extremely moving and light hearted. I was brought to tears many of times during the film. Especially "Joshua"'s visit to see the Pope in Rome. It was like. . . wow. This is a movie to make you go Wow.

I'm such a dork. When I read your post, I was thinking, "How could Joshua have visited the Pope? There was no Pope in ancient Isreal."
I haven't seen the movie, how about a quick review?

I adored it!
By the way Sunako, it's not in theaters, it's only on video/DVD (I think it's on DVD).
I liked the goofy part when: (it's not a spoiler but it's one of the funny parts)
The man was fishing and Joshua went up to him and saw that the man didn't have any fish, and he grinned and said, "Oh, ye of little fish..."
Hmm, I've only seen the movie once so I can't give that well of a review. So I think I"ll go rent it again so I can give a nice review for it. Basically a man named Joshua comes along and unites the Prodostant and Catholic churches in there area together and what not. He goes and preforms miricles. He eventually gets called by the Vaticant and goes to visit the Pope. This is when his true identity is revealed.
The last thing he says to the Pope made me cry because it was so wonderful.

Not really a complaint, but their version of the Catholic mass was really off. You'd think they could do a little research.

I watched it one or two years ago. It was an unique experience.
I really sensed in the movie that there was something very special about Joshua, I wonder whether that was how the disciples felt when they had Jesus among themselves.
EDIT: sorry, didn't think that was a spoiler but yeah, just in case

Yea I couldn't help but notice that as well, being a Catholic.
Spoilier below, please highlight it if you want to read it.
Though I loved the end how the acknowdled the Pope as "Peter". I was like yup yup, that's right.
If I'm not mistaken, a Catholic Priest wrote the book.

I truly enjoyed the movie also. I recommend it to anyone- seriously- go rent it.
It teaches many important lessons and is well worth the money and time. My favorite is a spoiler, thus it is below:
It helped give me a more visual and modern example of WWJD because I think Joshua was Jesus, in the end ???
I wish the movie had more publicity, I think it was only in theaters for a few weeks.
