When i went to Otakon i got this DVD full of trailers and there is this movie coming out in theatres called Appleseed. It looks like anime except for its 3D.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I saw the trailer at Anime Expo. It looks good, so I think I'll see it... depending, of course, on how far away the carrying theater is away from my house.

I've seen the trailer... a long time ago. I can't remember when they said it will be released. Mind enlightening me a bit?

Some 3D anime can be cool, take Z.O.E for example (the game), or Xenosaga.

Yes the original appleseed anime was a shocker! but have you read the manga? I suggest you read that as it is considered masamune shirow's greatest manga. I just can't wait till the new film comes out.

Don't hold your breath.
Miramax was advertising for a soccer movie from Hong Kong that looked funny...but pulled back on releasing it to theaters and settled for a dvd release.
