Clerks II

Postby Locke » Thu Apr 27, 2006 9:01 pm

I just came back from Scary Movie 4 (I Know I know...) but the previews showed a Clerks II teaser, which was wourth the price of admission.

Anyone else planning on watching it?

Is it Clerks 2, or Passion of the Clerks. Thats what I had heard it called when Joblo talked about it late last fall. Yes, I plan on seeing it though.

I want to see Clerks II, but the absence of Jay and Silent Bob pains me greatly.

"Which did you like better, Jedi or The Empire Strikes Back?"
"Empire."
"Blasphemy."
"Empire had the better ending, I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, uh, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett, it ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is - a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of muppets."

Yeah, I corrected everdred on this one in the car last night with a hearty laugh and opening the door while we were driving down the interstate.

Yeah, in the preview they start rapping over a old schol boom box (not Silent Bob...) while Jay rubs his moobs.

Isn't "Passion" supposed to be a cartoon?

That scene alone is going to make it movie of the year.

I think I'm just going to refer to Clerks II as "Opening Day" from now on.

I think the worst part about this movie will be the fact that Dante and Randall (sp?) don't work at Quick Stop and RST Video anymore.

Also, yes, I was corrected on the absence of Jay and Silent Bob. Clerks II is the last movie they'll be in.

Last movie they'll be in? Jamie. Are you ready to hurl him from a moving car again?

NO! This time I'm right. Kevin Smith went on record saying that Jay's actor (Jason Mues or something like that) has gotten too old and too messed up by drugs to continue, and Kevin said that he was getting to out of shape to play Silent Bob anymore. The thing where they weren't going to be in Clerks II was a misunderstanding, but I've got it right this time. Seriously. J can toss me out of his car as many times as he want, but this time I'm right XD
