Disney bails on Narnia 3

Yeah it wasn't acurate and the places where it wasn't acurate irked me. Like in the movie they threw in a horrid love element between Susan and Prince Caspian.

I wish they'd get Peter Jackson to direct and help write. I think he did a pretty good job making LOTR pretty epic.

Yeah, but even LOTR wasn't entirely accurate. There were a lot of places in the second movie especially, that weren't in the book whatsoever... like the lovey scenes between Aragorn and Arwen. The Return of the King was the most accurate. o.o

I must say that I'm heartbroken in a multi-faceted way.
However, at the same time, I can't say I'm all that surprised.

Narnia has my heart... forever and always. They were the very first books I read on my own, and I mean... Aslan. ♥

The Horse and His Boy is my favorite. I know that it will never be made. But in a way, I'm glad they aren't attempting it... because I don't think I could handle seeing THAT turn out the way Prince Caspain did. I didn't vehemently loathe PC, but I wasn't happy with it.

I really, really like the first adapatation. Didn't LOVE it, but I really appreciated it.
I'm definitely going to go see the third film, because I want to support Narnia, in hopes that it will be well done. And the franchise can get it's proper strength back again. But I realize that's entirely idealistic. I'll go in with very low expectations in order to hopefully soften what seems like an inevitable blow.
