Battlestar Galactica Help

Postby SnoringFrog » Tue Oct 10, 2006 6:58 pm

Okay, with the cancelling of Stargate SG-1 after this season, I've decided to take up watching Battlestar Galactica, of which I've seen most of the season premier (the rest we have on tape) and only one or two episodes from any other season.

Problem is, trying to come into it now with very little knowledge of what's happening, I'm a bit lost. Can anyone give me a quick rundown of what's happened in previsou seasons, and maybe who some people are? I don't know any names at all or really anything.

The mini and frist season are on a single DVD set. and half of the second season has been released on DVD and second half will be out soon. If you want to watch it.

There is a Battlestat gallatica section on http://www.gateworld.net that has ep summaries.

I also found that they had "The story so far" as a video on the site.

Just to frak you up a bit,
Mr. Baltar thinks he IS a Cylon (this Friday's episode had that for the teaser)
And...
Starbuck has a baby girl! And she almost kills it by being an inattentive parent (or was it all a Cylon scheme??)
It's getting confusing as to who is and isn't a Cylon and who is on whose side and which side is the good guys, etc. No wonder Baltar is going bonkers!

The Cylons are the good guys. That's kind of confusing (or very confusing if you watched the original series) because the story centers on the humans, but it's true.
